After playing for 50 years it's nice to see what people do today
This sounds like a tutorial song in literally every video game ever lol
Nice work..
I would also add the Bossa Nova to that mix! Very fun one to play, very smooth and groove
I’m just practicing Samba I hope I would be a good jazz drummer!!!! If have a drum class,I will fly all the way from my country to study!!!!!!🎉
Superb drummer drumming 🥁👍🏾⭐️
Thanks a lot!
Very great idea for composers
👊🔥
Bravo Brother
🙌🔥
get ready, universe 🌠
My Favorites are samba and nanigo! Love ur videos!
The last sound is hear the same like nepal's madalu beat😍🙏
I used the songo mostly ❤️it
Nice! The samba you highlighted is a subgenre of it, the bossa nova. More traditional samba is played in other percussion instruments, but it's a nice rendition of samba!
i really enjoy your videos!! one of the best
and also love ur drum colour set hahah
Muy bueno Brother
Just what I was after. thanks mate.
Thanks for watching!🤗🙌
Very cool mañ ì can use help withthese straight forward Latin in my repitior i cant say i IwiLL use all. Of them but you are increasing my feel. In all genres thanks buddy

Honestly you have been a great inspiration to my drumming life❤️❤️
I’m so happy to hear that! Thanks for watching 😃🙌
Srsly tho my drum teacher showed me these in hs and I hated learning them but I can’t deny it made me a better drummer listening to different types of music too
I’ve never heard of a drummer hating Latin beats 😅
They’re so much fun!🔥
First one sounded like the caravan from whiplash
Best drum content on RUclips
That is very kind of you to say! Huge thanks!! 🙂
@@30SecondDrumLessons yessir! I really mean that, there’s no fluff to the videos, they get right to the point. Keep it up!!
@@MyBigFatFairytaleWedding thanks bro!🔥
Facts 🔥 best drummer on RUclips
#4 🎉
That Nanigo sounds like a Moroccan rythm
Why does everyone with this camera angle always have the best sounding drums
Your channel is well realized. I'm learning a lot about drumming and enjoying your playing. I just subscribed. Fantastic. Thanks.
Huge thank you!! I'm glad you enjoy my content 😃
You are usually real good about showing the drum notation.
Drum stick breaking😊
The hardest for me to do is the double bass peddle hit with one foot as shown on #2. For some reason I cannot wrap my head around it. My foot just locks up and could only do it for a few minutes till its just single hits.
Practice slowly and gradually increase the tempo. Gotta work those muscles! 😊
Excellent ! 🥁
Awesome man❤
Amazing!
Thank you!!
Crossticks and rim knocks are your best friend
Wow impressive 😮 the first one seems to be very complex
Samba 👌

@@30SecondDrumLessons Would you mind linking them as I can't find them. Especially the first one.
Your very talented drummer. Sounds like a cop chasing a bad guy through town 😆 or like some of these could be on TV 👌

😅
I am a drummer but I don't know how to drum very well I need someone that will teach me
The First one kinda sounds like caravan from whiplash hahaha
Please make a Songo video
Browse through my videos, I already have a songo-breakdown there! ^^
Woohoo!!! I’ve been waiting for this video! Thank you 🙏🏼
I'll bet that you know who Billy Martin is from medeski Martin & Wood and if you don't check out the Note blue best of album especially Mami Gato, and partido alto, which is one of my fave all time studio layered drum tracks, pplus they are better live and do one better than all the studio tracks, espec if you live on east coast,I'm long island, and they play nyc-but not your typical hipster instrumental trio(pretty sure that's an oxymoron anyway) John medeski played with Robert Randolph and the Mississippi all stars in an instrumental gospel album and tour called "the Word".., but re:drums well if you like exotic percussion Billy is your guy, the only percussive instrument he doesn't have laying around his kit is a piano and a tabla, it def took me awhile to get used to, like animals as leaders(though extremely distinct genres) but they are the kind of music and band you can grow with over time, granted a little bit of it is tripped out, which is why it was the best Halloween show iv ever seen, if they ever do one again you shouldn't miss it, that's what I meant about east coast, off ona tangent almost didn't come back to the point ;) but also like on Mami Gato he does this niniga sounding beat, then double times it or turns it over somehow then half times it, must for drummers bucket list to at least know, speaking of drummers bucket list, if you never heard Herbie Hancock headhunters, then just stop everything your doing now and check it out, along with all of the 70's era miles Davis "rock" bands like bitches brew and in a silent way, thank me later, if...if you happen to dabble in the thc it wouldn't hurt with any of them although they are esoteric enough to launch you into the clouds straight edge as well, all 3 that's your homework;) jk, but in the not so sure if it's likely event that you have heard all those than this is for everyone else browsing comments, pay your respects jack de Johnette, Billy Martin, tony Williams and the like will be respected if not by you then I guarantee by those you look up to
Damm the Nanigo sounds very Nigerian like the igbo highlife
It originates from Nigeria! :)
They are called latin but all came fromafrican rhythms😅
Indeed!
But they're called Latin from some reason, aren't they?
Can you give me the note for each of them please?
I might do a full lesson on these on my main channel, and if you become a channel member - you’ll get transcriptions and click tracks ✌️
Do you have tutorials for these
Yup! Scroll through my channel :)
How about Zimbabwean “sungura” style
Chuck silverman!
He was one of my teachers at MI ✊🔥
@@30SecondDrumLessons I love Chuck! Such a cool dude!
@@30SecondDrumLessons Chuck was a brilliant drummer really nice guy too. He did a drum clinic at my college back in 1998. Didn’t Tommy Igoe take his place when he died?
These are the hardest grooves for these possibilities. Idk I feel bated
Do it slow bro
What kind of snare is that
Benny Greb signature brass!
Det Stevens
You make it goood
As a metal drummer, that’s so hard for me. You can’t play what I do and I can’t play what you do.
What makes you think I don’t play metal? 😎
@@30SecondDrumLessons His ego.
Brother, please make a notes
Sounds like timbales
Mon ni dols
Isn’t Mozambique in Africa?
The groove is called Mozambique, has nothing to do with the country
Bossa nova?😢
Didn’t get the Mozambique one. I live in Mozambique (country in Africa), don’t know any rhythmic called Mozambique
Although the rhythm shares many characteristics with Sub-Saharan African music traditions, it doesn't have anything to do with music from the country Mozambique.
It's an Afro-Cuban rhythm, originated in Havana
@@30SecondDrumLessons got it. Thank you
where is the merengue? 😢
Maybe for another video
🤣
Esse samba não é samba
Great playing, but so forceful?
Samba????😂😂😂😂😂😂 no no no!!
Samba is not latin!, its Brazilian! And Nanigo is African!!! Come on man!! get it right and then you have to work on your feel for all those rhythms, sorry but they are not happening!!!
Brazil, although it stands out from other regions, is part of Latin-America, therefore a latin country (Portuguese is also based from the latin language).
Nanigo is indeed from Africa, but has also been adopted by the Afro-Cuban music scene since the slavery days.
I'm not grown up with the music, so my "feel" is definitely not the best, but since I don't see you playing it - we've got nothing to talk about here.
Yeah!! we got nothing to talk about other than me telling you what I have told you!! 👍🏼
Idk about Nanigo, but i can say that Samba is latin, bcause Brazil is a latin country yanno?
@@sticktrik I can’t take someone seriously that uses so many exclamation points after every sentence. Keep in mind this isn’t about politics, it’s a channel dedicated to teaching drum patterns…..cool out a little my dude :)
