now it makes sense why Harry and Behz are such a good couple as well
On a real though, i now get why Faith has the personality she has. as someone with Autism myself, i also get mistaken for having a slightly rude tone and get called arrogant when i in reality only mean well. usually its because us autistic people can have a hard time expressing emotions when we genuinly feel happy or interested in what other people say. we tend to have a resting bitch face, which is hard to change to a real happy face and offten gets taken as sarcastic
Hopefully my explanation makes sense
Everyone is not on the spectrum. You are either autistic or you’re not. If you are autistic that’s where the spectrum starts. Comments like that dismiss how hard every single day is for someone with autism.
@theindieprojects
Yes! This!
No hate towards anyone, but the whole ‘everyone’s a little autistic’ mindset is just not true, at all…
Edit :-
Do you mind checking if the comment I made about it’s accurate enough? Y’know, just as a favour…I don’t want to misinform anyone.
:)
@@BrainyGreenOtterwhilst 1% children are diagnosed with autism. Up to 30% have traits associated with autism. Having a trait is not the same as having the disorder however. :)
@@louisbaker4362
Thanks :)
How exactly do you suggest I change it?
@@BrainyGreenOtter I wouldn't change it, you are correct and I was just steelmanning your position. :)
Oh,ok
Thank you

No offense intended, but this is NOT TRUE AT ALL
It is an extremely common misconception that ‘everyone is on the spectrum somewhere’
Not everyone is on the spectrum. Not everyone is ‘a little autistic’.
That’s not how spectrums work. Something being a ‘spectrum’ doesn’t mean it’s something that everyone is on…
It just means that those who ARE on the spectrum can be completely different from each other, showing completely different/unrelated traits…
Also, about the ‘how does it feel to be autistic’ thing…I’m not sure if this is true for everyone, but most people in the community don’t feel like this question makes complete sense, as any autistic person who is asked that question doesn’t know how it feels to NOT be autistic, and may end up answering using only facts they know about autism, or may answer how they think they are expected to answer….
Again, no offense intended
(If you haven’t guessed already I’m autistic, and I have a bunch of other stuff as well, but that’s a different story. I’m originally from the UK/Guernsey but moved elsewhere)
Anyways, got luck with the diagnosis (or whatever you plan on doing next)
:)
P.S :-
I understand the plane thing faith…
While I’m not into ‘planes’ in general, I’ve loved plane crash investigation since I was a child…
People tell me it’s a bit grim, but it’s interesting lol
same i'm autistic and just because you take some quiz online doesn't mean your autistic
@@BarneyJutton
Yeah, I'm not trying to dismiss that Faith is autistic, in fact, I believe it's actually quite likely based on how they approached it, but for the many viewers out there who might get the wrong idea;
while online quizzes can be a starting point to exploring the possibilities of you being autistic, doing one or two isn't enough.
Research things in your spare time, double check all the symptoms, and make sure that you're not dealing with overlapping symptoms from anything else, or falling victim to (confirmation) bias.
Also, although they are sometimes very difficult to get, a professional analysis is often recommended.
:)
Yeah Ethan means well but I also cringe a bit every time he says it
@@BrainyGreenOtter yeah she should get a propper assessment done my parents had one done on me when i was a young child so yeah
congrats faith!🎉
These two make me laugh 🤣 constant roasting
I really hope you guys aren't taking the piss with this autism discussion because abelism in the UK is extremally normalized to the point I stopped attending high school because of how bad the abelism was. I hate to be that person but the people who were being very abelist were also big sidemen fans. This is because of continuous normalization of making it seem like autism means you are dumb and do all of these strange things when that isn't at all the case. I really really just wish the sidemen would atleast educate themself on this topic more to understand that autism is alot deeper then what it seems.
Suddenly people will like her now because shes autisic but have been slagging the poor girl off for months in the comments 🙄🙄🙄🙄
That’s because people assume that everybody is just like themselves and if someone acts “weird” then that person has to be bad and gets craped on. When theres an explanation to the “weirdness” then they get less triggered and understand or accept the difference
Ngl when I saw the thumbnail I was not surprised in the slightest
1:47 absolute shite mate. you are or you aren't.
Why does everyone think they are an autism expert. I work with a verity of different people who are on the spectrum and a lot of them you wouldn’t even know were autistic.
Autism gang faith
You know what I’m starting to like faith 🫡🫡🫡 she is Ethan’s yan 🤞🤞🤞
I don't get the hate, really. She is hilarious!
she got hate when she fake she had broken up with ethan, which was for the music video@@raphduf25
@@raphduf25 Hilarious is a stretch
@@raphduf25doesnt matter if she’s funny, she’s insufferable and she makes Ethan unhappy
She is really like me
She does mildly resemble Greta Thunberg..
Faith ankles are rude
She’s not autistic. l will tell you why. Autism comes when you can’t take care of yourself and need someone, especially your parents to take care of you. Faith can take care of herself. The next sign of autism is that you are smarter than a lot of people in weird things, and Faith doesn’t have this sign. Finally, autism comes from the malfunction of the cerebrum, that means that you can’t speak normally. Faith can speak and express her feelings. She is a good mother to Olive. However, she is kind of an introvert, but being introvert and not able to socialise with people doesn’t mean you have autism.
Totally not true. Please educate yourself
