LOVE those gems!!! I have to invest in those & a ton more glue dots!!! Every card is beautiful and unique!!! I love them all!!! Thanks so much for inspiring me and sharing your time & creativity!!! Blessings & hugs!!!
Maria, you will LOVE those rainbow drops so much! I have found that crystal glaze or journey glaze is a great adhesive for them too. Thank you so much for watching this video and for the commenting too. You gave me a big smile with your kind words.
It is a fun system and I have videos with it every month. Have you thought about the Glimmer Kit of the Month? That is a good way to get new plates and foil each month. That is what my video is on each month for the Glimmer Hot Foil system.
i love your videos! I just bought this heat press today! I have had some trouble getting the foil to stick everywhere. I am running it through the machine slowly, but still not working. I was told maybe the press is not hot enough, but the reply you posted said it can be too hot. Please shed some light on this, i really want this to work.
TransAmer99 I’m glad to help!!! If the plate is too hot you can get over foiling or excess foiling. If your not getting enough to transfer to your paper then try adding spices of card stock between your plates. This shim will add more pressure and help it to transfer better. All die machines are different. Some need a shim and some don’t. I have lots of hot foil videos, they should be helpful. But feel free to reach out if you have other questions. 😊💖
I totally understand, that can be so frustrating. I'd love to help. First thing is to try and cut your foil to be as close to same size as the plate. Also, do not over heat your plate. Put it on there when the prepared light comes on, add your foil, paper and plates. Hit the timer and then run it through. I think letting the plate sit on the hot machine too long causes over foiling. Which is a lesson I learned in the video I put out today. And sometimes over foiling just happens. Most times you can erase it with a sanding eraser. I hope these tips help. Feel free to ask me any other questions, I am glad to help. You can email me if you like; carrie@carriestamps.com.

Great ideas Carrie! Thanks for sharing! What is the name of the tool you are using to pick up sequins? I want one!
