Those two women conveyed very well what it is to live under an oppressive and authoritarian rule. I hope the rock climber Elba’s Rekabi is safe and does not suffer too adversely for her act of defiance. She is truly brave, and the authorities will want to make an example of her, of course. The eyes of the world are upon you, Iran! Of course, if Iran had no oil, no other countries would support the current regime at all.
Where the lady says that the Burka / Hijab etc, creates a barrier I think this is very true and relevant where children are being taught in schools. Surely it must have an impact if the teacher has her face hidden?
