In a few years the US Southwest, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico will not be human habitable. I live in Texas, June, July, August, September are lost every year because you can't be outside more than ten minutes. Temperatures are 105-110 degrees for 60 days, every day. We had NO rain last year. None. In 2022 we had 125 degree on one day. Schools were closed. Residents were advised to go to the nearest supermarket and camp out near the freezer sections. That's why we need Greenland. Millions of Americans will have to move soon and find a colder climate. Greenland is 100% empty and its thawing out.

I think, if they do become independent from #Denmark, at most accommodate a free association country setup like #palau especially prior to formal separation with proving they don't depend on Danish resources. Anything else would limit their flexibility in determining their future.
