- It's been a long time coming, but the moment is finally here! After not seeing Peter's parents in person for nearly 3 years, or Aiden meeting them for 6 months... The grandparents have arrived!!

I' m durch,my husband is belgium- German speeking.( And the Dialekt from Here). And in school they learn french.my son choose english. So many languages,so many oppurtunitys. And IT IS no problem to speak with my Family too👍.

That's so cool, Aiden will be bilingual. I think that's so important that if a child is biracial and the parent speaks another language, that child should know and speak that language. It's so important. God bless them 🙏🏻 ❤️

I was thinking the same thing! The mom is holding him the entire video, but I thought grandma & grandpa would be glued to him! Especially if they only get together every cpl years. I hope they did get to bond with grandbaby more & just didn't want to be shown on line.

What a precious couple you are. My beautiful husband died suddenly at 52 .We had one granddaughter age 8 that was crazy about him and he thought she hung the stars. He didn't get to see her grow up. She's going to be 23 next month. Graduated in vet medicine. I know your parents are over the moon with their grandson. I would be.

Mariyah, strongly encourage you to study Polish language & to become at least intermediate-level conversational if not fluent Polish speaker like Peter too.
It is a hard Slavic language for native English speakers but will show initiative and full embrace of Peter’s identity & culture. How cool if Aiden grows up speaking native English AND Polish from BOTH of his parents?!
In vid Peter said “ WE are trying to raise Aiden to be bi-lingual.” What are your efforts toward that goal?
There are increasingly more “hot Black Woman/hot White Man” YT videos now. All physically attractive couples w/ cute kids. Genuine. Cool. Fun to view their antics and update clips
Sometimes though, those vids show the ‘White guy’dancing as if to prove that he has rhythm. Clearly, both of you do as pro ice skaters lol. Then, where guy isn’t native English speaker but learned to speak English fluently OR is from country X, the African American lady never learns HIS language. We see YT vids of him braiding her hair, twisting their daughter’s scalp with the oils as he’s learned that, but the lady never learns his language.
Instead, in YT, in some of those vids the AA woman shows how she makes a few Country X entrees & desserts and learned a few greetings like “hello, thank you, grandpa, please, how are you? in husband’s native language and giggles about it.
Really like to see when a spouse fully immerses via language acquistion. [Thus far an AA YTer in S Korea moved there, learned Korean high level fluency, did Korean marriage ceremony. Mad respect]. Very easy to make a few meals or say a few words but conversing in spouse’s language shows commitment focus dedication and strength.
Just encouragement & strong nudge to learn Polish too to at least a conversational level. Aiden will benefit and prob fun for your relationship as well
Note: You’ve got a built-in, live 24/7 Polish language tutor right there. He won’t even probably charge you $95/hr for reguar scheduled lessons lol
