@@Dipeshgiri7there will never be anything like the OG goat. In any sport. Graham was winning trials championships when he was Mani’s age. Hard Enduro didn’t even exist. The fact that he’s so far past his prime and still damn near podiumed the hardest race in the world is absolutely unheard of. And after coming back from a major injury that would end any mortal’s career. Mani may well turn out to be Lebron, but Jarvis will always be the Jordan of Hard Enduro.
2:21:52 look at where trystan came from bud. He was in 50th off the start. What an exceptional ride by hart. He was up from 50th to 2nd in 40 some mins and he never lost 2nd contrary to what the announcers made it sound like. Would have loved to see another epic trystan and mani battle. He definitely never gets the recognition he deserves. Also an amazing ride and amazing to watch Jarvis work his magic. Always one of the favorites and mario made a great ride as well. Mani is a beast. Can't wait to see Billy back and the 3 way battles with the robot and mani
I think if Trystan could get a bit better at being humble/self deprecating in interviews he would get a lot more love from the commentary teams ect, he seems to have a bit more of an American interview style which prob makes sense since he's Canadian therefore prob been racing a lot of usa events and been exposed to a lot more of that media style. The europe/UK is very different culturally and requires a lot more downplayed media style to get everyone on your side. Don't get me wrong this is not a comment on him personally, he's probobly a really nice nice person, this is purely a comment on interview/media image style.
I have hungrily watched every ounce of Erzbergrodeo footage I could find over the years. These last few have been just heaven. It's definitely the best it's every been. That said, once the leader gets within 10 minutes of the finish line, we spend most of our time watching the uneventful long march to the finish line and subsequent interviews and commentary about the race, while it's still happening. How about we save the congratulations and accolades for after the race is actually over. I'd much rather watch the battles for position, at least among the top 10. Do a little bit of editing, and save the interviews for last. Just a thought, based on my personal opinion.
Always an amazing race to watch. I wish RED BULL MOTORSPORTS knew how to cover a race better. Not having footage of the leader through challenging parts is inexcuseable. And how many times to I have to hear the stupid "Master class" or Clinic" phrases again and again. Every time the camera is focused on a section they should display the riders names. ESPN would do a much better job at broadcasting this race and its sad at how badly Red Bull drops the ball.
I've never seen so many KTMs. i would love to see the chaos of starting at the top of the hill instead of the bottom. Imagine how many people would fly off the "Mountain" before it even starts.
The Red Bull Erzbergrodeo broadcast had several issues. The main problem was the lack of camera variety, focusing only on four riders and primarily showing the same replays. There were almost no scenes from battles at different positions, which made the action and drama from further back in the pack disappear for viewers. Overall, the broadcast felt monotonous and less exciting than expected.
I like to wait until a couple of riders I follow download their POV on RUclips. It's better coverage in my opinion. But it's a huge course and I know they can only do so much.
I don’t know what you’re on about. Of course you are entiteled to your opinion, but for me this coverage makes it super exciting! Love that they sometimes check in on the carnage of the later rows that’s stuck on a hill. But they follow the top guys and the ones with a chance of finnishing! And with the chopper younget great visuals! *not a dig on you, your comment was the top one so saw it everytime i checked on the app, so I felt I had to put in my 2 cents
It was the same last year. Just be grateful to be able to watch so much race footage. Not many of the other FIM hard enduro races have coverage like this
The coverage is so bad; at 2:49:00, why do they switch to aerial view of the parking lot, while Manni was in one of the most critical sections and there was a battle between 2nd and 3rd?!?!
@@joethomas1678I don't know if you have payed attention to action sports in the last decade but drones are used far more effectively than choppers. They can get right into the action and are far cheaper to hire for the race. Look at redbull outliers redbull hardline and redbull rampage. But you are a very kind and respectful human and I'm sure you are very intelligent. You do know the topography of western canada and especially the rocky mountains. Maybe you have heard of them. Jarvis overshadowed the first three finishers solely because of his age, well done mate. Its obvious this race has been "snowflaked up" compared to earlier years, just like the Dakar today.
It's sad that this extraordinary awesome competition is so poorly organized.. Every single year I hope to see real improvements, and I am disappointed. THE START: you want to start the main race in 10 lines of 50 competitors, but it's difficult for you to have, for example, a RED-GRENN-LIGHT START, so there's equality for everyone, without tricks and cheaters (just analise this year's disastrous start). THE TRACK: At least until the 10th Checkpoint you should provide more routes/ larger area, to avoid blockages and the impossibility of continuing the race for those who do not start in the first line but have the skills to go further (you have 500 riders, after all, you cannot send them home after CP3). And as many say, "What is the purpose of having a qualifying race in the 6th gear, at a hard-enduro competition? Having in front of the pack motocross riders that cannot ride hard-enduro?" It's a guaranteed recipe for traffic-jams! LIVE STREAM : when you have 500 riders and for 90% of the time you are focusing on top3 (max top5), you are not doing your job well (Not enough live-cams ontrack, or somebody is sleeping in transmission center?). And in 2024 I don't think it's an impossible task to have on-screen provisional ranking with intermediate times in an accurate and professional way, not amateur , as at past and present. As a conclusion, I wonder when the FIM will intervene in this awesome championship and impose some common rules for all races (start rules, checkpoint rules, gps/tracking rules, etc.) @RedBull, wanna help us, please?
Billy Bolt commentating was extremely good. It made the whole viewing experience a lot more interesting.
Billy was super pro commentating and he managed to not swear for 4 hours thats fukn insaine loved it .

Jarvis the master
Needed more on ground cameras and drones, too much of the heli cam

Starts are a joke, you got guys jumping the start everytime and nothing is done about it. Put a 40 man motocross drop gate in there
This aint motocross, jumping a start aint making much of a difference. I-woz-there. These guys are all absolute warriors.

why not use more drones instead of a helicopter?

Mau dia amatir atau pro, semua memiliki peluang untu juara yang pertama. Menurut saya, seharunya star itu secara bersamaan semua.
Pat calls Jarvis the Silent Ninja? Then makes a comparison to Tom Brady? Does he even know this sport or it's demographic?
I miss when Jonny Walker won, not sure what happened, might of been the injuries stacking up, but he seemingly fell off.
Jawohl Lettenbichler 😊👍🇩🇪

Why did you use a helicopter for footage over drones? You didn't even edit the sound of the helicopter out. What? Disappointing Red Bull.

Heli carries bigger and better cameras for live broadcasting for a longer time and greater distance
You clearly have no clue what it takes to live broadcast anywhere let alone Erzberg. Maybe you should stick to watching soap operas!!

Racing around a large mountain, with lots of trees and interference makes drones less reliable than helicopters at this location.
