Martin, excellent video again, but frankly you are a real artist, most of us would produce shite images flat at best. Thanks anyway fo showing g us what is possible though
Ganz großen Respekt für Deine künstlerische und fachmännische Arbeit, dass ist schon echt Extraklasse was Du drauf hast. Finde es toll das Du einen daran teil haben lässt, weiter so, Danke.
I just found your sight. I enjoy how you other type of mediums todo helmet graphics. I liked your video were you used watercolor pencils . I use watercolor pencils on my bobber and model railroad. Your work is amazing.
sir you are great.i truely want to be your student because i am also a professional bike rider with a good artist.i love your videos and keep making such
Martin, another great vid, hoping you can help here. I am looking to paint a Pro Stealth saddle that I have removed the decals from. What paint (either airbrush or brush on) and additives would you recommend?
This is amazing. Great job with the end result and thanks for the tutorial! I’d like to do the same with a new bike helmet that I just bought that is a bland Jet White glossy color. Haven’t decided which color or imagery to go with yet but I really like the matte finish. I have a bunch of acrylic paint lying around my house for my standard paintings. Can I use acrylic paint or does it have to be the opaque airbrush paint used in your video?
superb job! do you think this would look ok using coloured pen markers instead of paint and brushes? and would this brush painting job work on bike frames? thank you so much for sharing your videos with the rest of us, you have saved me a lot of swearing and anger! buona giornata!
I'm really curious, but a little confused... are you actually removing any visible brush marks? or simply building up the valleys with clear coat and then wet sanding back to get a smooth finish? I presume u still see depth in the brush strokes? Love your work btw!
Phu Le building up the clear coat and then sanding back gives the helmet a consistent finish. You will still be able to see the actual brushstrokes of the original paint but the helmet will feel smooth (no ridges or valleys). By using multiple layers of clear coat, you are only sanding the clears and not the paint beneath it (basically sanding back the top two coats and the first coat still protects the original paint). I hope this helps and doesn’t confuse you any more🙂
@@ETOE if I wanted to paint a bright green. And my bike helmet is orange do I need to add many coats of white then sand and paint more white. Or just paint bright green on straight away.? Thanks for responding. I'm using acrylic paint and a brush.
I had bought a different helmet on Amazon at the beginning of this summer for my big headed daughter to wear while bicycling and scootering. ruclips.net/user/postUgkx0ipcYkXV-2YCp_cBN3HLfzR_OoD0HQYx Well it was WAY too big and not adjustable at all. Previously we had really expensive but adjustable helmets from the local bike store and I didn't really want to pay $50 again for another helmet. I searched and was fairly sure from the reviews that this helmet was what I was looking for- and it was! The pads inside are comfortable, the rim in front provides a bit of shade, but most of all for me there is the dial adjuster in the back which allows for a really secure fit on my daughters head. It seems like it will fit for a few years too which makes me even happier! She loves the pattern and I might end up buying another one for her twin sister (who has a much smaller head!)I definitely recommend this helmet. My daughter is 5 but has a big head. Her twin sister could fit in this one as well but it's a bit big.
Jordi Diego I’m still very new at it so I grab my mates old hard hats to practise on (I’m a truckie and we have to replace them every year or two for safety so instead of just throwing them away, I paint them first). That way, if I stuff up a design (which I do a lot ha ha) I’m not ruining someone’s expensive helmet. I just try a design then paint over the whole helmet and try a new design and repeat the process. One day I hope to be able to do what ETOE does but until then, it’s fun practising😃
One of the most things I like about you: You're noch a people pleaser.
Great job!
No way! Its not something anybody can make. You are a natural artist

You could have just cut out your paper and turned it around, skipping the tracing paper step.
Don`t be a dick and cut your artwork. Trace it on a sheet of tracing paper and you can use it again for the next project.
Why do you remind me of a German... (im German BTW)
😂😂 Lol. “If you think it’s dangerous don’t ride Fkb bikes “.
