Stan was joined by Arsenal legend Ian Wright. Meeting for the first time since their public falling out, the pair sat down to chat about the spat, Ian's Premier League career, and his career as a pundit.

Stan, such a unique interview style, respect
well done stan getting wrighty on , love him could listen to him all night
Love when black icons show the rest of us how to restore love to one another .
Thanks Ian and stan
I don't see skin colour. I see two winners with personality
I wish the rest of the world didnt see skin colour, but that's just a wish unfortunately
This channel will hit million subscribers very very soon and begin to dominate. Keep it up Stan...you are going somewhere with this...big ups!
Loving this series. Collymore does a great job and as he gets older he seems to be very very humble. Keep up the great work Stan.
Respect to two grown Men. This is how you deal with issues, come together and talk it out as Men. Not killing each other. More young people need to see this.
Well said bro
Nothing but love for this conversation between two giants
Stan the Man and Uncle Ian...Wright Wright Wright. Two top men 🇧🇧. Come on U Reds #unbeaten
Wrighty for me (Personally) is the true Arsenal Legend and no I’m not black but stil Wrighty is the man
Why would it make a difference what your fookin' ethnicity is? He's a legend regardless, why are you insinuating that non-black people don't regard Wright ''As the Man'' ... You Wanker!
Fascinating! Stan is a great interviewer - very smart and articulate. Ian is simply a lovely human being!
Brilliant Interview. Thank you
Stan has a good conversational interview style.
Another fantastic interview. Just brilliant. Thank you Stan. Wrighty is an extremely wise man.
It's great to see they're on good terms again man. Good interview!
Real talk from Stan totally spot on bro respect to Wrighty for being honest
Stan bringing up issues we only talk about in the barber shops. Big up Stan 👊🏿
Clearly Stan's a difficult man and must have been a nightmare to have had as a colleague at Villa or Liverpool. But underneath I think he's a decent and intelligent man.
Wrighy just described every school boys dream about the FA CUP 👌👌 great interview and great show stan
Wow...nice to see Stanley back!
I really missed him on Talksport!
Subbed!
More power to you stan and the mindset that you are trying to implement into the next gen........love and good wishes to you and ian right right right ......... HH bro.
Great pod, guys. Love you both. Be safe.
Ian Wright hes a legend Stan Collymore was a Great player . Your no uncle Toms. You's speech the truth 👏👏👏👏👏 gr8 chat lads really liked the straight talking no beating round the bush.
me favourite 'last word' so far, so nice the ending...keep it up Stan, love you work...Henning,Liverpool.
Bloody love Ian Wright, he's what being an Arsenal fan is about
This was great. Thank you guys. Love and guidance
Love you both. Top interview!
I love everything about Wrighty
A white kid from the northeast.. Wright was the reason I supported arsenal when I was 6 what a player, I use to try and emulate the way he finished, now grown up.. I'm not a footballer and I've supported my local team Middlesbrough for 30 years... Where did it all go wrong
Paul Staton it’s crazy now mate. I’m a black guy and as a kid I use to think I was Mark Hughes the king of volleys. I don’t care about colour.
hutts hutts same here mate, I had a massive wright poster on me wall out of shoot the football magazine I think it was, 101 not out the poster read.. Good times
Paul Staton 101 not out, your spot on Paul and the panini football stickers.. when football was football. So much skill on offer. As for racism I think its here for ever, unfortunately. Which is a real shame..
hutts hutts damn you really are taking me down memory lane there hurts with the stickers haha, I never looked at wrighty and thought black player, I looked at wrighty and thought what a player, one thing I will say tho is it's every bit as hurtful and embarrassing for white folk when we here racism, but I think that's just all decent beings regardless of colour,
Great Show 🏆🏆🥇
Great interview Stan with Wrighty
Two absolute legends Pelé and Ruud, Mummy will be best pleased.
"The powers that be are not looking to change it" Gwarn😤 Fucking So Right, Spot On👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽
Two top class people...
Wow. It's never easy to have a spat publicly on social media and then choose to Apologise, again publicly on social media. Respect Stan
Nice one! ;)
Took balls Stan. I'm a big fan.
Good interview👍🏽
to be honest, i think Stan is better doing his podcasts, staying online anyway. much better than having to be PC etc on tv or radio. plus he gets to do exactly what he wants to do, he has the audience.
Great content.
Well funny enough, the england team have now said they will walk off the pitch if they get any racism in either of their games coming up. So 👍
IWW & Stan 'The Man'!!

Stan The group was the pasadenas 😀

The Pasadenas. Great memories
Brilliant
Ian Wright is south London
do one with bryan robson please
Different racial incidents should not be conflated. In the UK, racial abuse in grounds is largely perpetrated by individuals and clubs are addressing the incidents. Chelsea for instance went a long way to prove that Raheem Sterling had been racially abused by one of their supporters. The worst incidents of abuse are on social media platforms and political pressure should be exerted on the companies running these platforms to take greater responsibility for what is said on their platforms. A starting point is to abolish anonymity on these platforms and to redact certain words. The outstanding issue in the UK is the lack of BAME coaches and managers. Professional clubs should be required to employ at least one BAME person as a coach.
The situation abroad is different from the situation in the UK in that abroad there is still racial abuse by a large section of the crowd. The Euros and the Champions League can be brought to a stop if there is a united effort by players in or from England, France, Germany, Holland and Belgium. This would require organisation and legal advice in that UEFA would need to be warned in advance as to measures will be taken if UEFA fails in its duty of care to the players.
🦅🦅
I remember these 2 having beef for years...Wrighty my hero but always rated Collymore who was one of the most talented centre forwards ever produced but didn’t fulfill potential
Give credit to Stan he made a mistake with Ian. He apologied knows he was wrong and its the decent thing to do.
Chris Armstrong former Palace and the abuse he got is relevant to this topic.
Stan revoke you're apology
Just be yourself
You were trying to look like The Pasadenas, Stan?
Pasadenas
It is sad to think the colour of skin causes such issues...We are are humans!
Tell us the Mickey Dury story
I apologise is not the same as i am sorry
i dont think anyone cares nowadays, what race you are. i may be naive there. but i never look at a pundit and judge em on that. but i guess there are weird people out there who would. Wrighty is great cos he has a personality, which many pundits dont have.
Your multi millionaires from kicking a ball....stop moaning
Stan thinks the world owes him something slaps up is Mrs then he is the victim
i really dont know how collymore has a job.. the guys a muppet.
You talk way to much Stan, let people talk man.
Ian Wright is just a lovely man isn't he
Is indeed.
100% genuine bloke
unlike alot of people in the public eye you know Wrighty is being sincere with everything he said here, he's one of the realist men out there
@@kiely4561 that's why he never got offered the England job
naseerul Kabir probably not the only reason
Just found stan again , haven't heard him since he left talksport .He is such a good broadcaster I've missed his verve and directness, just great to listen to.
Two real dudes, keeping it real and being man enough to say, 'Man I got it wrong, I'm sorry'. 👏
Top draw lads even as a Liverpool fan I love Wrighty 👍🏼
The Combat Golfer that’s class man I’m liverpool fan I feel seem way
I like Wrighty dearly
The band your looking for Stan is, The Pasadenas, in think they came from Battersea. Great work!
Correct
Stan. Massive respects to you and hopefully you can get back to mainstream. Since you left, I no longer listen to Talks***e!
Ian. You are a pioneer and a reason why AFC are who and what they are today!
Absolute quality!!!!! That episode went way too quick. These podcasts are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Met Stan a few times when he used to go David Lloyd's Birmingham, always took the time to say hello. Nice bloke
I love how they are swearing.....this is a real conversation
13 dislikes by the BBC
The rest are the talksport bums
Need to see more black men interviewed really loved the feeling I had after listening
????????????????
Because not all black people grow up in black community I didn’t, and hearing from others how it feels, eating your first rice and peas in your 20’s it’s about black verse white but a lot of black people grow up different, then back up with football very interesting
This was absolutely brilliant well done Stan and Ian
Ian Wright was my childhood hero!! The first time I saw him play was on ITV '88 for Crystal Palace (old 2nd division).. I was screaming in the house for everyone to come and watch this player called Ian Wright.. I went & told all my friends to remember the name Ian Wright, I told them this guy is like Pele.. I was mesmerised, couldn't stop talking about him!! Till this day, whenever he comes on TV my family refer to me LOL.. No exaggeration Wright was some player for Palace, completely unbelievable.. In that FA cup final vs Man U I kept on screaming for Steve Coppell to bring Wright on, and you can imaging my joy and screams when he scored, twice!! he was INSANE!! I think he changed his game when he went to Arsenal and became more of a goalscorer. He was unapologetically black and proud and he gave such pride to the black kids in such a turbulent era for race relations in the UK.. a complete legend!!!!
Just finished watching the whole
broadcast...brilliant just brilliant!
Fantastic interview between Ian Wright and Stan Collymore. 😊
Incredible listen, absolutely adore wrighty - respect to the pair of you 👏
I'm a big fan of this show. Every episode is riveting. Keep up the good work Stan. Peace and Love.
This was a goosebumps moment. So proud of these 2 black men
9 people disliked this! 9 people need medical help. Fuckn brilliant boys. Loved it. I'm white Glaswegian and we dont see colour, only what's inside.
Respect Stan for the love and respect you and Wrighty shows for each other and to be a man that apologize for the wrong and make it right, that's how we black people should support each other not tearing down each other
Ian wright. A legend of a man. God bless him and his family. I'd gladly, have a pint with him any day of the week.
Stan ... you and wrighty had me in tears 😭 of happiness. This one of the best interviews I’ve enjoyed from the off . Two black legends I loved growing up and I’ve never judged any of you guys just admiration. Bless 👊🏿👊🏿⚽️⚽️
Great interview. When Ian Wright came to West ham the 9 year old me was the happiest kid ever. Keep up the great work Stan, enjoying the shit outta these
Wrighty is a great guy, always has a laugh
I honestly must be so sheltered I should be embarrassed with my myself. I have had an absolute huge man crush on Wrighty from when I first saw him playing at Palace. I couldn't believe my luck when he signed for Arsenal but NEVER have I looked at him as a black man, a different man of any description or a person that should be identified by anything more than his sheer fucking footballl genius .Years ago I worked with one of his best mates and he would call the showroom regularly and because of this I spoke to him most days and if I am totally honest, I was nearly always like a little kid whenever he called and I answered. He is just a fantastic bloke who played for my team. I almost feel mad at myself that these guys are talking about the racism in a game I love because i never considered colour as an issue. I am really disgusted by the fact that athletes like Wrighty or Collymore should ever have had to be subjected to any form of hate. I'm no orator but if they want someone to represent them, I'd do the job and I'd happily tell anyone with a negative opinion of them to go fuck themselves. It makes me fucking sick. Colour, class, creed or sexuality have zero bearing on talent. I would happily have a team of any colour, any sexuality or any creed of players represent my club. All I ask is that they play for the shirt and enjoy their football.
Simply really.
You don't like guys like these? Well you are allowed on the basis of personality, playing for the wrong team, being dirty, being whatever you think in a sporting capacity, BUT if you dislike them because of their colour then all I can say is you are a twat. You need to rethink your values and if you can't , then FuCK YOU.
I am expecting you to go on TV and say rass clart 😂😂😂
Ian Wright Legend 🏆🥅⚽️👍🏽
Ians got a beer belly?
Stan Collymore is one of the most talented strikers this country has ever produced. Unstoppable on his day. Ian Wright wasn't bad either! 👍 Both legends.
This is the greatest ever interview. I loved every moment of it. I really loved the end describing that moment he would change and the feeling he had at wembley. I practiced all of my youth with that dream trying to follow Ian's footsteps. I met ian in Bahrain and let him know on the mic what he meant to us as young black up and coming football players from the borough of lewisham. The greatest product for me to ever come out of england and true legend. When u made that tweet about wrighty I noticed since then wrighty has embraced his blackness more, you done a great job stan apologising and getting him on the show. This renewed my love for football again and makes me want to reach the top as a coach. I'm a UEFA A licence coach working abroad and I would love to come on your show to give you an insight into my journey, although I'm a no name in the industry I'm a legend in the ends and I know I can deliver given the chance.
Good luck man hope to see you at the☝top soon
Lee Ohagan thank you lee I’ll give it my best shot. Really hope to get an England youth team or Jamaica Mens national team job one day.
You're a man for that apology Collymore.... risen hugely in my estimation. Big Rispek!!
well said mr ian right..........more power to you........i feel your hatred, along with stans.........as a scottish born son of an irish born father i to have had to contend with racism , although the scottish government would have you believe that it is sectarianism....when in fact it is anti catholicism and anti irish bigotry............you have my attention stan.......HH
I absolutely can not understand how u hate someone cuz of the colour of their skin .
I grew up watching wrighty and collymore ( am a forest supporter ) and yes I’m white ( whatever that means)
I never noticed we were different-except for ye scoring more goals then me
This was IMPORTANT!
