    Thank you for making my week with your blog! Congratulations on the move, such a brave thing to do and I’m sure you will have no regrets and have a fantastic adventure.
    (Not that you need inspiration) but would you considering doing a video on any of the following:
    * Why you chose to study in the Netherlands?
    * Getting to meet your boyfriend? (How you met, what he’s studying etc)
    * Day in the life?
    * Morning routine?
    * What you eat, cook etc?
    Thanks for being such an inspiration. :)

      Hey! First, it makes me sooo happy to hear you've enjoyed the video! And thank you so much for this valuable feedback, I'm wondering what kind of videos would be the most interesting ones to my audience, and I wrote your suggestions down. I just realised I didn't consider making a vlog of my day for now because I'm not this productive or perfect but maybe it'd be better just to show this more realistic lifestyle
      Thanks for help!

    NICE update Natalie!! I always learn something new watching your vlogs. I’m glad you didn’t have to move there alone, that would have been overwhelming for just one person. And I’m glad you mentioned safety and are keeping that in mind. My fav scene was 5:43… can so relate to that! Stay safe, have good adventures and learn a lot along the way! 🙋🏻‍♂️🇨🇭🇺🇸

      Hahah, I love your favourite scene choice! I'm happy you enjoyed the vlog, I will definitely try to make more engaging content about my life in the Netherlands (and I'm also happy I didn't come alone, it would be extremely lonely at first). Any suggestions for videos that would be interesting to you? ;)

    Why did you choose the Netherlands? Amazing video!

      Hey! The answer could be long or short, so I'll just give you a short one. I really liked the degrees they offered here, the cost is lower than in the UK, the US etc. and the quality of teaching is very high.
      I'm glad you liked the video!

    Hey, I also want to move with my boyfriend to Rotterdam but I find it hard to find a studio for two people and even if I do, they're rather expensive... Where did you find yours and how much does the rent cost incl gas water, etc. If it's okay to ask?

    • @NatalieMatz
      @NatalieMatz  2 года назад +1

      Yeah sure. We used multiple popular websites (Kamernet, housing anywhere and some really dutch ones) but it was super hard to find something with registration for 2 people. The landlords ignored our messages or even bookings. Eventually we found an apartment at Holland2Stay but it was a bit of a lottery. We pay about 1250 euro for rent (so 625 per person) including the water, electricity etc. but we also ended up paying a lot in municipality taxes, so it nearly goes up to 700 a month.
      I hope it helps
