About Westworld:
Have you ever questioned the nature of your reality? In this dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin, a malfunction creates havoc and terror for vacationers at a futuristic adult-themed amusement park for forbidden fantasies. Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins plays Dr. Robert Ford, the brilliant, taciturn and complex creative director, chief programmer and chairman of the board of Westworld, who has an uncompromising creative vision -- and unorthodox methods of achieving it. Four-time Oscar nominee Ed Harris portrays The Man in Black, the distillation of pure villainy into one man. And Emmy Award winner Evan Rachel Wood appears as Dolores Abernathy, the quintessential Western farm girl, who is about to discover that her entire idyllic existence is an elaborately constructed lie. Westworld is inspired by the film of the same name written and directed by Michael Crichton.

"This all feels a little too familiar...."
"I'll be damned, It's Us."
Stephen Gies lol the best part
Stephen Gies my favorite part of S2 so far
Who says you can't copy paste a scene and not make it equally epic!
"It's not plagiarism. It's supply and demand."
Haha I didn't even put two and two together.
This was actually made for laughs,so I think his goal was to make us laugh with him.
FDN now that I think of it that line is kinda meta. Everyone loved that moment in S1 so they brought it back
You try writing 300 narratives in 3 weeks!
"So I may have gribbed a little from Westworld..... You try writing 300 stories in 3 weeks!!!" So good, loved this episode
It's "cribbed", but yeah ...
it also plays on wild west stories that lifted feudal japan stories
@@pnutz_2 oh! You are totally right!
That was probably a quote from the show writers to their bosses when they showed them this episode.
Imagine spending millions playing Westoworld, getting bored of it, spending millions more on Shogun World, and realizing it's just the same stories.
Commander_Ninja
Call of Duty: Android Warfare.
Sounds like me with every call of duty game that comes out
Commander_Ninja that’s what made it so funny . Because some games actually do, do that 😂😂😂
With an asian twist on them.
...getting bored... Ha-ha! Really?!
When this played during the episode, I had the biggest smile on my face!
Every week i'm just blown away by Ramin Djawadi's score.
Ami! haha. I'm kinda not surprised to see you here. I know you're a huge fan of Westworld!
and the reaction of the trio Maeve-Armistice-Hector when they feel the déjà-vu :)
Me too! I had goosebumps hearing the first strum of the shamisen
He will be and already is the next john William and Hans zimmer
I have no idea who you are, should I have lol?
I heard the score and was thinking "This sounds like Paint it Black... wait a second, this scene is familiar."
Then the characters said "This seems familiar." and I started grinning like an idiot. As soon as Tao Okamoto pulled off her hat and revealed the dragon tattoo I lost my mind.
such a great scene
I feel like I should watch this show....
"Men have lost their hands for touching a geisha like that."
'Better than the geisha losing her head.'
Sole Survivor meanwhile in ISISWorld..
Before it played I was like "Wait, this seems familiar"
Then the characters say "This really seems familiar"
I thought "Oh no, don't tell me they-"
They did. I had tears (of joy).
Had the same reaction when I saw the scene. Fits well with the Samurai fighting scene.
Same reaction here
Its.. fucking amazing.
Same reaction, my eyes were squinted the whole time trying to figure out why this seemed familiar.
My thoughts exactly.
The original scene in season 1 was perfect. Season 2’s version was even better.
Such a good show
And then again in season 4, its such an iconic scene.
When Paint It Black played in the first season, that's exactly where I knew I loved the show. I had such a big smile when this version played and I just couldn't stop.
Ikr
100%!!!
Ramin will be the new Hans of soundtracks
Phelipe Cruz well, Ramin was a student of Hans so it's kinda befitting.
He is already a worthy successor.
He already is
But Hans is making most of his melodies by himself and for films. On the other hand, Ramin is covering other songs (very often) and usually making music for TV.
Michael He has made so many original soundtracks for GOT itself. Yes he does covers but that's not all he does. He was snubbed for 'Light of the seven' which is the most epic original soundtrack I have heard for a tv show.
'"All the businesses in the Han, and you chose to rob me, Musashi?"
"This is house of entertainment. Now that I no longer serve the Shogun, how else can I be entertained? "
So awesome!
Samurai, Shogun, Ninjas with Ramin's score couldn't ask for more..
God I love this show
The Chief I hope you're a troll
Exact same thing I said after hearing this and CREAM lol
Dude. That ending tho. That ending tho!
TANKMEN BAYBEEE
Thumbs up for profile pic
So... they took the best scene from season 1 and put some samurais in it. EPIC!
THE LITTLE DETAILS MAKE THIS SONG MORE BEAUTIFUL!!! I am so sorry for the capital letters, but this is, really, a breathtaking rendition to this song on another realm of Westworld. So gorgeous!
Vlad Von Carstein ME TOO
And again he did it! This man is a musical god.
Did anyone else know exactly what was about to happen just be hearing those first notes?
Half Portal Fortress figured it out when she said, "the mariposa". I was like, no way....
Nope. I was too busy grinning at the soundtrack, I didn't even notice.
Shogun World's Paint It Black sounds so right. It's all in the details!🌸😍
So far, best episode in terms of musical score, I was just blown away 💙
Binod Dahal the C.R.E.A.M cover was beyond amazing
Andrick Nyx thanks man 😀
Hence I bought it from Amazon Music the MINUTE season 2 westworld score came out.
The scene when this score was played, gave me goosebumps.
The moment i heard the melody I scream “YEAH”
Ramin Djawadi, you sir are the man.
The "paint it black" was my favorite scene (season 1) and to see this scene again in this way is just sooo AWESOME
LOVE IT!!!
I had a big stupid grin on my face as soon as I heard the first few notes. Such a good composer this man is.
Do you honestly think you’re the only one who realizes that this is a cover? You’re delusional kid. It even says it in the description for people who wouldn’t know. Not hard to figure out.
The Chief lol
Goosebumps during the episode, anyone?
Ramin Djawadi you did it again!!!!!!!!
Goosebumps.... Damn I love you Ramin!!
Beautiful, just beautiful man
I've seen the original Bank Heist scene so many times that I recognized this right off. I died laughing long before that Japanese sheriff died to that giant toothpick of death
I was GEEKING when he asked him about the horse. Having watched s1 so many times it jumped out at me immediately. Somehow I missed the kids placing the bug on the guys head though... I completely failed to make the connection until he was asked about the horse.
Calling it now: The final season will have a shootout in the real world set to the original version of Paint It Black.
He went from middle eastern , to Native American to Western movie's scores in 5 min .. truly Amazing ..
Paint It Black fits Shogun better than ever did anything else! Brilliant.
This scene, I was laughing so hard at the TV, and when he says about having to reuse narratives I was laughing harder.
I've listened to at least a thousand versions of paint it black. and yet, all of them are masterpieces.
Ramins music and everything about westworld is perfect 👌
So it's basically a cover of the first season's cover!!! Love it!!!
I’m so grateful that Ramin Djawadi exists in our world
This man just covered Paint It Black.... twice... and both times were fucking awesome!
Seriously, just seconds after they said "This seems familiar" I exactly thought the same thing, and thought what if they seriously doing the paint it black scene again but in Shogun world? And moments after they did it, my god that scene was amazing! Can't describe in words how much I love it!
Ramin Djawadi is a genius musical, i love the songs of this man!
A masterpiece!!!!
Chills when this played.
0:54, I stood up from excitement at that part realizing it was Paint it Black.
Hiroyuki Sanada channeled Toshiro Mifune in that episode I had chills.
been searching for this for ages..since...the last episode :P
This scene was possibly the best thing on TV so far this year. Couldn’t stop smiling.
Eastworld
God damn, this music gives me chills.
Ramin Djawadi el mejor compositor de este siglo
SUBARASHIIIIIII
Abyss reference?
abdalminator It's a Japanese word meaning excellent or incredible
SUGOI
When I realised what was happening I screamed in excitement LMAOO
I just saw my doppelbot and it really f’d up my cognition
pure perfection
Another Amazing Cover !
Ramin, you did it again. and it's awesome
This gave me chills when i saw it in the show, and it's happening again now i'm listening this, it's awesome!
Thanks Ramin!
Sees opening shot. 'Oh they've re-dressed the main Westworld set.'
Music starts playing. 'Oh. My. God. Thats is genius.'
He's simply the best composer out there. His score is phenomenal it really is.
Double paint it black? Hell yes!
It's just so good
Great what a song
Tar.. 🖤🦋
everything connected to old japan history is so interesting and cool, even those eras like edo, tokugawa regime, meiji sounds so exotic
By far, best edit of "Paint It, Black" in WW if you ask me
When this awesomeness played....biggest smile on face just appears. ...new zimmer of these era
Simply amazing!
Just goes to show a great song is a great song and this song has been represented perfectly...it has taken the original composition somewhere else 10/10
I feel myself like in a simulation when I was watch this serial..Furthermore this song is so relaxing than first paint it black, my soul is flying
I fucking liked that they had the consistency to put this cover in that particular moment.
Jesus this was beautifuly done!!
Love the sly in-joke that this track is. In the show, it is played at about the same time Clementine realizes that Lee Sizemore cut huge corners when creating Shogun World and many bits are basically a copy&paste from Westworld, with a bit of Japan tacked on. The track is the same - it starts like an Asian folk music adaptation of Paint It Black, but then becomes a copy of the one we already had in season one. Awesome.
A modern classic
This is such an incredible cover! Music added so much to this episode in particular.
Ohhh God, this was just perfect!!
This guy is awesome!
Impressive !
EPIC!
Ramin Djwandi is possibly one of the best soundtrack composers alive right now. Every episode of this season is a testament to his musical talent.
Actually it’s from The Rolling Stones
wow, that's incredibly awesome
Amazing stuff
Amazing
To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour
I just saw the 5th episode of season 2, and when I heard this playing, I just flailed maniacally. I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!!!! EVEN MORE THAN THE WESTWORLD VERSION!!!!! I'M NOT AFRAID TO SAY IT!!!!!!!!
Wow.. epic score
Marvelous cover again
I love it so much ..
This is probably my favorite score in the entire soundtrack
so far Best episode!
فووور
Amazing🤩
SUGOI DESUUU
This is so cool. I love Westworld 😍😊 To me, this version is better than the original version by far
What a fucking episode. Jumping Jesus. I've never seen a more brilliant illustration of hack writing.
I love this version of Paint It Black
This scene was so intense but I was closing my eyes and just enjoying this beautiful piece of music
Thanks for uploading this cover. I really liked hearing it and will buy it soon!
The Chief chillll boiiii
Amazing 😍😭
This scene, as good as it was, would not have had anywhere near the impact, had this rendition of "Paint It Black" not been included.
Gold as always
Damn u!!!!!!!!
