While women crave emotional dependency from their partner more. But yes roles can be flipped too. The film ki n ka showed it perfectly,kareena's character started feeling jealous when her stay at home husband got so much recognition. I think the opposite case happens more though,cz society is still patriarchal. You will find more guys having problem with wife earning more than girls having problem with husband earning more. Some guys don't even like wife hving more degrees

For starters i would suggest movies from Satyajit Ray, Srijit Mukherjee, Kaushik Ganguly, etc. Why if you must ask i would say since Indian demographic is quite diverse and i ensure you that it will leave a feeling of a general warmth in you...or just be thought provoking.
