The Colossingum is a unique Island where Monsters can train and compete in thrilling musical battles to win Monsterrific rewards. Teleport a selection of Level 5+ Monsters from the Natural Islands to the Colossingum, send them to the Conservatory for training, and sign them up for challenging Colossingum Quests to win big!
Only Common Natural Monsters, Yool, Schmoochle, Blabbit, Hoola and Punkleton can teleport to and battle in The Colossingum.
Unlike any other island, the monsters do not sing, and all monsters are in idle animation; technically becoming a lot like Composer Island, which is also true because Thumpies uses Composer Island Thumpies' idle animation. Instead, The Colossingum is run by the Jukebox, playing the soundtrack “The Monster World” by default, but can be changed to a different soundtrack once higher levels are reached.
This is the first island since Fire Oasis not to have the island prefix in its name. It is also the first island since Composer Island to not include an element in its name.
The Island has a Nursery required for the Teleporting mechanic, but does not have a Breeding Structure as Monsters cannot Breed on this Island.
My Singing Monsters is a 2012 video game franchise developed by Big Blue Bubble and published by Canada Media Fund. The first game of the series was released on September 4, 2012 for Apple iOS. Ports of the game for other operating systems were later released, including versions for Android, Amazon Kindle Fire, Barnes & Noble Nook, and Steam. The game was also released on the PlayStation Vita portable console. Since its release, My Singing Monsters has grown into a multimedia franchise, with a prequel, several spin-off games, books, live events and series, and a board game. On May 12, 2021, Big Blue Bubble announced that the series would be releasing its first console title, My Singing Monsters: Playground, on November 9, 2021.
