Your dump connection, there might be a p-trap to block steel when nothing connected. Also best to dump black first than grey. Grey flushed out left over of black in your output pipes!
Atlanta’s bad but worst to me is Chicago. Roads are a mess-especially I-80. As far as travel time, by the time we stop for doggy breaks and human breaks, we usually add about 2 hours to whatever the gps drive time is. Love your channel!
Do not even think about pulling into San Fran Cisco!!!! It is even bad enough with just the truck. Believe me was there in 2000- 2002. Atlanta is really bad but nothing I have experienced is San Fran! You guys are great, so happy for you. We are too old to get back out there now. God bless you.
Couldn’t agree with you more about Atlanta. When I was driving on 75 I learned after a few times to take the belt (285?) instead of going straight through downtown. Nothing the best, but sure better than 75 through town.
We’ve driven thru Atlanta twice with our Class A Diesel Pusher and toad, we’ve also driven it thru the Seattle, St. Louis, Nashville, Cincinnati, Phoenix, Dallas, and most major cities in between over the last 3 years with our RV. Atlanta, while one of the most congested cities has had some of the most helpful traffic to us. I put on the blinker and the cars next to us have always opened up space for us to move over … maybe it’s from fear, but they made space. We’ve not seen that in most other cities, and some of them (Talking about you, Seattle, Phoenix, and Dallas!) the traffic seems to actively block us when we signal - not sure why the driving culture is that different, but that’s our experience after 3 years of FT RV life driving coast to coast 2x each year. BTW - before RV life we visited all 50 states and drove our car thru 49 of them, including Hawaii (where we lived) and the most congested cities we’ve been in for traffic have been Honolulu, Atlanta and L.A. - in that order … the only one we actively avoid is L.A. 😉 Glad you made it to FL safe and sound :-)
ohhh I hate when people seem like they are TRYING to not let you get over. I will never understand that... a little bit of kindness sure goes a long way! We will have to make a note to definitely avoid LA
I live in N. GA and go through Atlanta all of the time with my trailer (as recently as this weekend). I will take heavier traffic versus rough roads; I hate rough roads. Going through downtown Atlanta (75/85 connector) is much smoother than the perimeter 285. Speaking of rough roads, I hate driving through Chattanooga, and the last time we were through Denver (~5 years ago) I recall the roads there were pretty rough. Speaking of Florida, they have some pretty weird traffic patterns too. Enjoy and be safe.
Atlanta,Dallas,Tx. LA.California,LongBeach,California,Portland, Oregon.Oregon is Beautiful especially across Hwy 84 There’s A rest Area that U can Fish from the Bank in the Rest Area on the River Clear blue water. Red salmon,Blue spotted Trout. Mile Marker-#161 on the Westbound side.
I love you guys and am subscribed but I joined during your north trip to Alaska. Trying to catch all by binge watching but there isn’t an obvious order to your videos on RUclips. If the episodes were possibly numbered, it would be great. Craig seems lost sometimes but man, he powers through these challenges.
When I moved from Ohio to Southern Mississippi the trip said almost 15 hours. Ended up being 19 hours total over 2 days. Had my grandmother and an elderly dog so took a lot longer for 960 miles. I'm a truck driver so I'm used to busting out 650 miles in 11 hours but was a fun journey for the most part.
Just before I watched the video I received my approval to stay at White Oak Pastures on our way back from Madison, FL. We have eaten there before and buy our ground beef there. It is only 1.5 hrs from our home. It was great to see where the RV parking is! We also love St. Joe and enjoy eating at Sisters and Joe Mommas Woodfired Kitchen. Enjoy the RV show!
Being a Military Family from Texas… we always seem to have to drive thru Atlanta to get home (previously stationed in FL)… HANDS DOWN the worst traffic!! And we are currently stationed in Manhattan!!❤ Safe travels!
It was great to meet y’all at the Tampa RV show! And I forgot to take a picture! Oh well. That made my day! Looking forward to more of your adventures!
lol i'm all over the United States and yes Atlanta is the one I don't like so I make sure I go through there at night when there's no traffic. Because those people don't let you get over into the right lane to get off when you need to get off the highway
Love watching you guys. We really like your personalities and attitudes. We are also going to the Tampa show and are hoping to run into you there. We are looking forward to all your future adventures.
Thank you so much! ❤️ We will be at the Harvest Hosts booth hosting a Fireside Chat on Friday, January 19 at 3 PM. They are sharing a booth with Cummins Power South, which is behind the Intech RV area (officially called the 285 Lakeside E booth)
Oh my goodness, I can’t imagine it being that cold!! Neither of us have experienced weather like that before. Cabo sounds like a much better place for winter 😆
Welcome back to Florida. We live in Sarasota. Atlanta is definitely a pain in the butt driving through. Atlanta is another reason I like our motorhome. You can use the bathroom and you have full access to the kitchen while sitting in traffic. Washington DC is no picnic driving through either.
We will be staying in Port St Joe in March, love that area. Glad to see they reopened the SP for camping but looks like getting a spot especially for us non FL residents will be tough. Enjoy the RV show.
White Oak Pastures I who I order my meats from, and they ship it up here to NY... You can actually stay on their farm in one of their many homes or in town near their general store. (If you don't have an RV to stay in). Thanks for showing this stop on your travels!! 🦋Lily🦋

We are over on the St. Pete side and hoping to catch you at the Tampa RV show next weekend. We call you the “kids” and we are living vicariously through you guys until we go full-time in July. You are so much fun to watch! Welcome back to FL!

Septic tank fills up to the riser then solid goes down while liquid goes out tail lines. Always looks full that way. We just left St Augustine and visited Tampa while we were there for a week. Enjoy all your videos. Have a great time there. Jerald
You havent felt a stressful driving situation until you Tow a trailer across The George Washington Bridge in New York City.... In the middle lane...I had BOTH my mirrors hit by delivery trucks on each side of us almost simultaneously...and nobody stops to exchange the "info"...lol......the lanes are barely big enough for a regular truck. We Now try to avoid NYC at all costs when towing.
It was so good meeting y’all last night at the Switch It Up potluck. Looking forward to seeing y’all on the road. Maybe when you are back near Tallahassee/Crawfordville 👍😊
Nice your in Florida. We will be there in a few days. Can't wait. Atlanta is known to be very congested but everytime we've gone through we had no issues. Not even a slow down 🤞🤞🤞🤞. Now Washington is a whole nother story 😳
Love meeting the two of you at the RV show, Keep on , Keeping on , we totally enjoy traveling with you and learning about the places you stop at. Cant wait to travel to Alaska with you lol. Best of luck from Diane and Blane from Mexico Beach...
Nashville is about as bad as Atlanta, we have to travel through Nashville Chattanooga and Atlanta on our way to Florida from Illinois. Hope to see you at the Tampa Show this week!!
Heading to the Tampa RV show this weekend, maybe see you there. Found your channel when doing research on Brinkley's. Looking to see their new trailer option at the show and look at their 5th wheel models again. Would love to do what you guys have been doing once we retire in a couple of years. Hope you have been enjoying Florida, though its been a little cold and rainy lately. Take care and stay WILD.
The drain line is not slanted the correct direction I believe it is slanted up hill towards the opening rather than down toward the holding tank.. I would believe the dump tank is using pressure to fill rather than standard gravity.
Haha I use to drive my semi around ATL. One way you could of left Hickory went to Columbia then i-20 towards ATL but then highway 441 south then jump on hwy 129 to Macon then jump on I-75 south. It's a good route.
Not yet, and to be totally honest, we've realized we have the "wrong" bike rack 😅 We have a Hollywood Racks one, but it's the 'not for RVs' version lol. They do make an RV version one though and I would recommend them overall! And we just got our cover off of Amazon: amzn.to/3IoLZaV

We shove a rug in between the slide and pantry door. For storage, we have a container to hold a lot of the stuff like sugar, rice, etc it definitely could be better organized, lol.
Shitcago is the worst. I tried to roll through there on a motorcycle on year. After two hours of walking the bike I bailed and got off the interstate. Chicago is 100% the worst. We lived in SoCail for probably 6 years and the 5 was nothing!
Love the video, hate driving through Atlanta!! We are very excited about the RV show. We hope to see you there. What’s your schedule for meet and greet and where? We’ve been looking forward to meeting you!!! 🤍 be safe.
I’m from Port Saint Lucie Florida and was looking at port Saint Joe recently for a trip. There’s not much left for sites anywhere near me on the south east coast. I would also like to go to the Tampa show.
you're not kidding about sites on the southeast coast! it was really tough to find something for the Tampa RV show and we did actually book that one a little early
You know you are within 50 miles of Atlanta because they all start driving crazy! I don't know what a nightmare it would be towing a 5th wheel. But, I do know what it is like in a Semi-Truck. We think something is in the water.
@@wildrvlife glad you guys were good 👍 it’s wasn’t that bad in Daytona where I was . It’s been a weird winter we’ve had so many storms, rain & overcast weather
New York and Hot Lanta Trucker name for Atlanta. I would rather drive la traffic than the east coast. But I want to know why you did not invite me to go with you to Florida. 😂😂 I don't like the cold. Have fun with your family. We will be here next week. Much love. God bless. Be safe. Mary

We shove a rug in between the slide and pantry door. For storage, we have a container to hold a lot of the stuff like sugar, rice, etc it definitely could be better organized, lol.
@@wildrvlifeThanks! It doesn't matter how cautious of driving, there is always stuff off the pantry shelves...
I always look forward to your videos :)
Happy to hear that! Thank you for watching!
Shitcago is the worst. I tried to roll through there on a motorcycle on year. After two hours of walking the bike I bailed and got off the interstate. Chicago is 100% the worst.
We lived in SoCail for probably 6 years and the 5 was nothing!
Well, I'm putting that place on the no-go list, lol.
Atlanta is not that bad as long as your in the correct lane...lol
Will be waiting for the update.
Woot woot!
Chicago
Definitely!
My family had a beach house on Cape San Blas. It was destroyed by a hurricane.
Oh man, so sorry to hear that! There was so much damage from that storm in that area, so sad.
Love the video, hate driving through Atlanta!! We are very excited about the RV show. We hope to see you there. What’s your schedule for meet and greet and where? We’ve been looking forward to meeting you!!! 🤍 be safe.
Yes Yes. I’m also in the way of the mirror lol. And always add on 1 hour to our drive with the dogs it’s a must ❤. Lov y’all and see u see
haha I don't know why we always end up leaning forward at just the wrong time. Thank you so much for watching!! ❤️
I’ve only been RVing since 2018, but the worst traffic I’ve experienced was Chattanooga.
ohhh interesting! I know the city has really been growing
😂 ha, leaving minus 3c, when i leave from manitoba Canada its minus 20c at least, now thats an experience hooking up😮
I’m from Port Saint Lucie Florida and was looking at port Saint Joe recently for a trip. There’s not much left for sites anywhere near me on the south east coast. I would also like to go to the Tampa show.
you're not kidding about sites on the southeast coast! it was really tough to find something for the Tampa RV show and we did actually book that one a little early
Buy a 45° sewer connection
Love your energy. You guys are fun to watch. Hope you made out ok during the storms last week
We did, thank you for thinking of us and thank you for watching!
You know you are within 50 miles of Atlanta because they all start driving crazy! I don't know what a nightmare it would be towing a 5th wheel. But, I do know what it is like in a Semi-Truck. We think something is in the water.
LOL I think you might be right!
always need to add about an hour, due to stops for stretching, dog walking, etc.
yess exactly!
Hope you guys were ok during that storm that came this past week ❤
We are fine but it was kind of scary!! Can’t believe how many tornadoes popped up with it
@@wildrvlife glad you guys were good 👍 it’s wasn’t that bad in Daytona where I was . It’s been a weird winter we’ve had so many storms, rain & overcast weather
@@heavencantwait1218 SUCH a weird winter for florida!!
My guess is that you are going to RV Unplugged Season 2.
New York and Hot Lanta Trucker name for Atlanta. I would rather drive la traffic than the east coast. But I want to know why you did not invite me to go with you to Florida. 😂😂 I don't like the cold. Have fun with your family. We will be here next week. Much love. God bless. Be safe. Mary
hahah come on down!! It's definitely a lot warmer down here than up north right now
