I definitely could run to the nearest ref and tell him that that player out of bounds had tripped me, spat on me etc etc (what ever occured). I'd rejoin my Team and keep playing, Coach Dan. On the other hand, honestly, if a player hurt me while doing what Stevenson did.. PLUS spitting on me, I probably would have broken his nose for him in return. Sorry - got to be honest - 50/50 on whether or not I retaliate after also being spit on. If J-Mo was spit on....he showed some kind of restraint. In the end, The WR coach was right to give J-Mo a lesson by sitting him. I played football through juniors to highschool... I mean, I was well coached and disciplined. So. In the end, I'd like to think in many cases I only just get in the guys face and holler a few obscenities.

Watching a Bears podcast cause it's funny they were talking about it. They said " dude was on the sideline where he should be cause he was getting torched". So he was mad already. He better be suspended.
The NFL referees have had a hard on for the Detroit Lions atleast since some time in 2023. Remember - this year, in that Buccaneers game a play in which Goff threw an INT..the WR that he WAS TARGETTING was blatantly held. That INT changed the face of that game...and in the world of hypotheticals..the Lions could be 12-0 right now. Note also the Brian Branch ejection from the Green Bay game.. more garbage from the NFL that they only impose upon Detroit. So many other examples. Also, the J-MO thing; I would not be surprised if the NFL did nothing to Tyrique Stevenson.. and if the NFL fined/ and or suspended J-Mo. Of course the right way to do things is to penalize, fine and suspend a player that does what Tyrique did. They then either penalize the retaliation, fine later...or if a particular player has had repeat conduct issues..you may consider 1-game suspension. The NFL is becoming a joke now, too. I cannot forget how the refs flagged Kindle Vildor for Pass Interference on 4th and 17 on something that was ROUTINE coverage. (Kept the Bears alive.) Yup, anyways, I love that the Lions have been great thus far...but the NFL refs and higher ups are getting incredibly lame, and maybe some of the reasons have to do with legal gambling on these games.
I'd target J Mo also if I was an opponent. He literally is the least mature and composed player on the team, and is the easiest to play head games on.🤷

That entire refereeing crew was crap was garbage! They were holding on Zadarius all day! They missed a false start on that 4th and 14 play where they gave that bogus PI call that was nowhere in the vicinity of the players. This game was just garbage but the football gods did sort it out, and it did end correctly. The Bears had no business being in this game!
You guys think the NFL is going to let "your" team win anything??????????? You guys should get a hobby or engage with your children and families instead of getting all upset of this fixed crap. Its a show and it is controlled by gambling and TV money. I dont know what this pays you but im sure its nothing in the big picture.

That's one of the issues I now have with it. EVERYTHING is caught on film It's clear CBS had camera people right there....yet no replay of it.
