one note Shreyas, as a PM in a big company, allow me to mention what I see as a missing part: under INSIGHT bullet, PM needs to know how to answer questions about its own company, not just users and domain. example: "how well do you know your company's capabilities?" , "how well do you understand your delivery teams' priorities and current limitations?" , "how well do you navigate company's operational roadblocks and stakeholders?". I think without mastering understanding your own company's ability to gather resources to develop and ship your idea, even if you have reached the master level in 'insight', will be impossible to be a good performer and proceed to the "execution" phase. every company is unique, big companies introduce 'bureaucracy' obstacles, not always your manager will advocate for you. You can't just come up with brilliant ideas - you need to find ways to voice your ideas first, you need listeners. your success depends on your expertise with your company's limitations, culture, resources, delivery forces capabilities and stakeholders unique characteristics.

Do i give them this template and self-appraise before I as the manager present my view or should it be a one-way conversation where the manager just communicates his evaluation?
