Good
So he imports a perfectly fine base vehicle from China and adds all the crap Americans "need" PS, PB, electric widows, fuckin infotainment system and doubles the cost. That 200 recharge cycle thing is kind of crappy, Probably be 100% better with a 2 cylinder gas engine. Reminds me how much I'd like to own a Piaggio ape
The power steering is comical on a vehicle this size but I guess if you manage to cram a literal ton of stuff in its bed it might be nice
You're probably also getting warranty cover without having to ship the whole thing back to China too.
Customers are welcomed to provide their own shipping options. Here is a price breakdown for the U.S. market: for example, vehicle price by itself with 3 years warranty starts from $8000 and up to $13000 depending on models/battery without options, freight, duties and final destination charges. Ocean freight costs, depending on the season, can range from $1500 up to $4000 to the west coast before we add auto transport costs to the customer's location. Auto transport can range from $0.9 to $1.2 per mile depending on location. We are currently based in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Avondale, Arizona and Frederick, Maryland with more locations to come. Where we are based, we can handle service and stock spare parts for fulfillment. Recharge cycles are typical for our AGM or lithium battery chemistry at 500X for AGM batteries and over 2000X for lithium iron phosphate batteries. Base models without warranty, shipping and freight can be purchased at $5500... However I would imagine most customers would want more service. Happy to answer any other questions at support@thepickman.com
@@gearshiv Welcomed to test drive our vehicle with and without power steering. I have demo models in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. No power steering just means it's a bit harder to maneuver when the vehicle is parked or at low speeds. Once you're driving at speeds its totally fine.
@@EmyrDerfel To be established in the U.S. we offer 1~3 year warranty on our vehicles and 5 year warranty on our lithium batteries. We cannot sell a vehicle here without warranty, sales & service so not comparable to other options.
