I see/hear this view all the time. No. If sellers "just want the stuff gone!" they would throw it way. They want to get some of the money they spent for it back.
I like the lady's comment "The dealers are coming, so what? Let them take it!" That's the way everyone should think. The dealers are the only people that buy my stuff. The other people just look and complain and want it for a quarter.
Smart that you took advice on lamp shades & looked them up. Good for you! The cow container was so cute & who doesn't love a cow that you can put cookies in his pa-toot. Happy to see your mom. Swords were cool! Enjoyed your video!
Good chance to teach your kid about life and if you snooze you lose. Emotional intelligence involves being able to handle when things don't go your way without anger. Kid can be disappointed and sad; but anger is never the answer. There's things you can control, and things you cant. Worry about the things you can change. I hope I can teach my kid these lessons. Life will be easier. Hopefully my preteen isnt tryna buy swords either lmao.

Sorry but there is no way in the world if buy my kids weapons like that that boy didnt look no older than 13 and i xant believe his mom or whoecer she is would even consider it thats just crazy to me and if the kids is going to be that angry over it thats even more confirmation that he wouldnt be responsible with it.
All i kept screaming was Wedgwood Lamps, Wedgwood Lamps!!!! Dave, those Lamps were worth between $500-$800 bucks and that plush was worth very little. Can't believe they were there...😢😢😢
Dave, at 30:58 you will see a shower clock on a rope. If you ever see those again you need to look them up. I sold a DaliCo clock on a rope for $170. It's a Flavor Flav thing.
That wall display of the 90s donruss cards is the real value. I think it sells for 20 to 30 all day. Those things sell at shopgoodwill for those prices with shipping.
IPSY is a makeup and skincare subscription…you pay so much every month and you get a bag with like 5 products in it. Just FYI…Nine West doesn’t have great resale value
That used to be a great catalog that the dude had gotten the swords from. My younger brother bought a huge final fantasy 7 sword that has to weigh 70 pounds.I would let a kid have a sword if they had experience with axes and sharp objects. When I was a kid I had to keep the woodstove fed. So most days after school in the fall and winter I had to bust wood. This was from 8 to about 16 and I very seldom injured myself. With anything like that though you need respect for the tool or you will get hurt. Getting mad like that the sword purchase probably wouldn't have ended well.
I make a big buy like the swords, I’m paying and they are going to the car, then I will go back to the sale. Good tip on lamps shades, never thought much on them.. hope you’ll made it through the hurricane alright..
I've enjoyed your content for years..I'm also a dedicated Trash2Cash listener..I've learned a lot, regularly from you and Kevin and occasionally from Kerry, ( from his 1 video every 6 months 😂) ..I do notice you very seldom pay attention to books .I know you do sometimes..like the Robert McCamnon books ( Dawn bought) but ive found some books like Movies, though the majority is worthless, some can be very profitable and very fast sellers.. especially college textbooks..in Rural South East KY where sales can be 30 mins apart you gotta think outside the box and I'll buy every college textbook for $5 or less I can find and 9 outa 10 sell super fast..I'm sure tou know this and you dont show Everything you look at but it seems sometimes you ignore the " book boxes,".. just an observation.. thanks for what you do!
Would they have even sold them to him without a guardian present? Can't help but imagine that if he had managed to buy them, he'd be returning them a few hours later with a VERY angry mother in tow. Probably best you got them, first!
so what is the problem...u are buying to resell and some one that is not a reseller will be upset with u two for buying items for resell....fair game, just wake up earlier and show up earlier....
Hi Dave congratulations on your finds it was nice to see your mum and that man who said that he would take your goodies and you mum to the car was lovely I know it’s annoying when some joker comes and takes everything you just need to move on knowing you will find better things sending best wishes @nd hope you have an awesome week 🐨🇦🇺🦘🥰
You did nothing wrong. You jumped on a great deal. But, he's also just a kid. I'm not going to fault a kid for not being mature enough to handle disappointment. Hopefully he'll learn and mature. On the other hand, if he was an adult, then that's a problem.
I would of at least offered him one , poor kid probably just wanted one for himself, this the reason why resellers get no respect they’re really all just greedy they’ll probably take a toy from a baby if they could
@@c7a865this is an absolutely ridiculous take. We all miss out on stuff. Giving it to the kid would just teach him that if throws a fit, he’ll get his way.
@@c7a865 Dave bought them fair and square. If he was going to offer one to the kid, it would have to be at Dave's resale price! Then watch the kid's attitude!!!
You should keep that Philosophy beauty product in your mind, you picked up the cinnamon shampoo for a couple of bucks it sells at Ulta for kinda big bucks. I wouldn’t pass it by, you certainly won’t lose your money on it!! Just saying…
First come, first served. HOWEVER, when I have a sale, I hate it when people show up an HOUR before the sale is to open. The really annoying ones ring the door bell OR they are rushing in and rummaging through while I'm pulling stuff onto the driveway. Same thing happens at swap meets. Give me time to set the stuff out! I price my stuff comparable to what I see listed online and at thrift stores. I am NOT going to give it to you for 1/2 price so YOU can resell it. I'll throw it away first.
Because I'm rich, I do buy everything just to throw it in the trash so nobody else gets it.... I'm a democrat and I don't play well with others. They call me Karen. 😂😂😂⚠️
not gonna lie I hate reselllers who get to a sale 2 hours early to buy everything...i collect but do resell, but can never find items because reselllers buy everything i collect....
If the kid is that mad about missing out on a yard sale find maybe he shouldn’t own a sword lol
😂😂😂
Maybe he should get up earlier!
Sellers just want the stuff gone!
Good for you for taking it all.
Nothing better at a yard sale than an empty table👍🏼
I see/hear this view all the time. No. If sellers "just want the stuff gone!" they would throw it way. They want to get some of the money they spent for it back.
@@stitcher4729 maybe I should have said “I” just want stuff gone.
I take a shot at getting something for things I no longer need before I donate.

Great to see your beautiful mother with her gorgeous smile. Great buys. Keep up the great work.
😊
probably saved a life by buying those swords
Exactly what I was thinking. 😅 there goes the neighborhood
That lime green monster stuffed animal was hilarious 😄

Lampshades- in the uk are a really bad idea unless there's proper good value to them. They are big but light so expensive to send

I agree life is full of disappointment
Dave can you make the ebay price you put on the screen bigger? Can't see what it says, another great video..

Missed those Wedgewood lamps; those were nice; we love cameras too; that Tools sign was cool.
I was screaming at the TV about those Lamps he passed up, but bought shades?😂
What does a 10 year old boy need with a sword or axe anyway?
