There were a few players left off this list, like Andre Miller, who I had to leave off simply because the highlights of their game were either terrible quality or just didn't exist. Kind of sucks but the list we had was solid enough as it was imo- Mike

    Mike be like:
Terrence Ross is the only player in HISTORY to have a 50 point, 4 rebound and 3 assist game while shooting exactly 53% from the field while driving a Mercedes to the game and turning up 15 minutes early while having the letters T, E, R, N, C, O and S in his name. He also is one of only two players to do this while owning a pet hamster named Bob and a bird named Fred. The other player? (slow and intense tone) Michael. Jordan.

Am I the only one who in the back of their mind assumes Terrence Ross is better than he is? I always thought he was going to be really good I mean the man can shoot and definitely take it inside, he's an above average ball handler aswell I could see him doing real well as a 6th man on some teams.

he is the new Jeff Green....only Green can actually drop 30 any given night. JG coming into the league was very athletic, could handle the ball, had size, and could shoot. Every year it seemed like he was about to break out but it never happened. Ross like Green, has a lot of potential but will never come close to their potential.

I met Tracy Murray after he retired when we were both taking a broadcasting class in community college (he's since continued onto a broadcasting career with UCLA). The class asked him about that 50 point game he's become so famous for, and he kept it simple, telling us that it was just one of those nights where "I felt the basket was as wide as the ocean, and I could've kept scoring even if all five guys covered me at the same time."

What usually happens is these players start to take on the expectations of others and short cut their potential. You see it with older players. The media start to hint about retirement and the player forget things like them always being sore unless they stretch. They would take that normal soreness from trying a cold dunk and use it as proof that what others are saying are true

#5 I remember this game. Jennings scored 55 against my Warriors, and I was wondering if the Warriors should have drafted him that year instead of Curry.
Flash forward to the present and Curry is a 2x MVP and 2x NBA champion on a $200 million contract while Jennings is a bench player.

Hey mike, at that time, jennings scoring 55 was no surprise because he was touted as a better player than steph(ironically that game was played against gsw). Its sad that his career was injury-plagued.

I'm sorry but BJennings is a known bucket getter. He was a superstar his first few years. He went Oakhilk Academy (VA), as you know it is an NBA high school. He broke the schools scoring record, which still stands, of over 60pts. He out scored, Carmelo, Ben Macklemore, Quinn Cook, Ty Lawson, KD and plenty of other talents. He was one of the best high school scorers ever, that's why when he hit 55 it wasn't really shocking.

That game had an asterisk. The Jazz were awestruck by their hero and played zero defense against him. It was a gimme since he was a terrible player on a terrible team with zero shot at the playoffs.
Real sweet of those Jazz guys though to give the old man one last hurrah.
Oh no did I destroy the myth? Watch the game, as soon Kobe started playing decent everyone backed off.

Jennings with 55 in his 7th game as a pro. Was crazy. Hell, the NC State Wolfpack had a game a few weeks ago where, as an entire team, they scored 24 points in 40 minutes. They had more turnovers than field goals. And they were ranked in the top 25. So yeah, 55 is a big deal. Jennings really dropped off after that though.
