THIS DESERVES SO MUCH LOVE!!!! the detail!! guh i love the reflection shot in the phone. also the shot of the uris wedding rinfs does such a great job of communicating eddies thoughts. OMG THE COLORS in the bar!!! who is eddie drinking with at the umbrella table? is it a friend or bill? i love the fireworks reflecting off the door when he enters the patio. omg that last shot in the hospital 🥺💕

Omg this was gorgeous !! Everything was executed so perfectly - Eddie's emotions and how all the characters mixed and behaved was done so skillfully and just AGH I'm still CRYING. I love how it just builds and builds and then the scene with the fireworks is like a beautiful crescendo !!

OK, I know I'm late, but damn, this is incredible. I won't even talk about the art style, it's too perfect for any human language to describe. The animation is smooth, the little story is adorable, the details leave me speechless and the characters are just perfect. I love seeing Eddie's point of view especially because in the book, it is him who is in love with Richie and not the other way around. I don't know how many times I've watched this, and I certainly won't stop now !
I actually fucking cried during this, oh godddd. And I got Absolutely terrified when it started flashing backwards. Like maybe it was all a fantasy but no, thank god. This is incredibly well done, I will be rewatching this forever

Wow oh wow what can any of us even say about this piece of comfort, the feeling of a warm hug or watching people you love being happy, condensed into 4 minutes and 28 seconds... Thank you! Thank you for sharing this with us. And making us all collectively weep in the best way possible. It's beautiful in so so many ways. I loved seeing Eddie slowly open up, becoming more and more his authentic self. Absolute perfection. You are a true visionary. (Also uuuh /HELLO/ thank you for the blessing that was a bearded eds. this is hands down my favorite animatic of all time. its so well done, both artistically and metaphorically. i love the timeline and they way the story switches between the past and present. i swear ive rewatched this video dozens of times and everytime things rewind super fast i start tearing up because. just.
