- Today I'm beating alpha 1 without being seen, and without sleeping in the bed. This is my favorite version of hello neighbor because i has the best ai and is scary. I hope you enjoy.

Hammer: in the garage table thing
Crowbar :under the neighbor’s bed
COPPER LOCK
Copper key: inside the children room blocked by bricks
Lockpick: in the neighbor’s camera room

I think he did that because maybe using the lockpick might be too easy and it wont require much stealth
I love how the game crashed to avoid the neighbor from seeing you and burying you alive

The full game would be amazing if they kept all of the daily activities for him, like looking at the paintings, making toast, cleaning, and all the other old stuff. It would also be cool if they kept the thing where he blocked off hallways in the prototype, and the way you could move dressers to block doors
And if they… y’know… got rid of the hideous abstract style and used the realistic style. And added different types of doorways like in the prototype for variation
Man this game had a lot of potential I love the pre alpha alpha 1 because it kinda gives off a 70s 80s vibe and the sun looks great in alpha 1 imagine if they updated the game with more floors with stealth gameplay required no dumb parkour stuff. And the old art style and sounds the game was actually creepy!
When the neighbor opens a door: normal
When the player opens a door: external screeching

Back when idle was better than final game
You can actually know where the neighbor is by sound , normally when he is close to you , the ambience changes , maybe that can help in case you don’t know where he is
Note: These ambience appear only in pre alpha / alpha 1 and are not the same as the sounds in alpha 2 / alpha 3 / etc...
This mechanic is applied only after Alpha 2.
@петя Sorry. Meant the vignette that appears when you are near the neighbor or something.
@@pietrolima3148the music changes to a more unnerving one the Closer you get to the neighbor. And the Alpha 2 ambiente is just a sound getting louder.
Only problem with this would be that sometimes the ambience is too slow to change in time
@@YoussefEliklil Not really, the problem is that you can't really track the neighbor by doing that, which is good for the scares but not that pratical in this challenge since he could be on the first floor while you are questioning if he really is nearby

Why would they remove all the cool little details to him? Like sweeping the bathroom or sitting on his bed or all the other little things, it was so cool but they removed it, does anyone know why?
I guess the game needed more time.
There are actually rumors going around about a HN1 remake but take that with a grain of salt.

Fun Fact: While in the Graveyard Room, you can hide in the coffin to prevent the Neighbor from seeing you if he walks into the Graveyard Room.
Imagine if we lived in a universe where the pre alpha/alpha 1 style was the one that stuck

The Neighbor was cleaning the floor in another room. And whenever he finishes that task he places the cleaning tools in the kitchen where they're kept.

When I recorded this I was using a low spec laptop so I played on low settings.
