  • The advent of technologies in the 21st century has influenced the perception of virtually every concept in the education industry, including teacher, their qualities, and their responsibilities. Today, many scholars, including teachers, most often, use "educators," "facilitators," "instructors," and "lecturers“, interchangeably with teachers when referring to professionals in the teaching sector. This raises a serious concern about what currently and exactly constitutes a teacher in the sphere of education and the technological era, knowing fully well the impact of nomenclature or naming on human psychology. Hence, the need for these clarifications to evert the pending danger of such misconception on the teachers’ psychology, and quality of teaching and learning globally and most importantly compromising the professionalism of the teaching profession. Therefore, this video distinguishes between Teacher, Educator, Facilitator, Instructor, & Lecturer.
