I didn't except to stumble upon the biggest goodwill, but when I saw it, and I saw their book selection, I knew I wanted to show y'all too!! check out this place and selection y'all! did I miss anything good?!? I really I want to go back when it's not closing to see everything (:

I think you passed by Penguin Classics, the orange editions they put out. I would look out for those. Lots of books that end up in thrift stores, meant they aren't essentially not a classic. Those HP series books, I think the owner found a better edition/cover to collect. Sigh.
You should have got the matching Harry Potter spine bookset, and yes they did have book one. It was right besides the matching spine!

I don't know if this is a Portland Goodwill, but it looks like one. I know the one on 6th and Salmon has a selection this large. The caveat is that everything is way overpriced

I know I am many, many, many months late but you may not support the author of the HP books but if you love that world and that edition (those spines!!) it's all good because the author is not getting anything from thrift stores.
