This reminds me of a pickle I’m currently in. I booked a flight with Swiss through United in July last year to Dublin that’s scheduled for the week of St. Paddy’s day. I bought the travel insurance with it and in the end it came out to a little over $700. A few months later my cousin invites me to his wedding in Mexico that’s on, you guessed it: St. Paddy’s day! I don’t wanna miss his wedding and tbh I don’t have the budget to go on two trips, so even if they were to reschedule me I couldn’t really go. But I’ve read that at least with United, they’d have to cancel/significantly delay the trip in order for them to issue a refund. The insurance I bought also doesn’t cover this. 😬
Great tips 👍 I usually fly southwest too
Southwest is best!
