Once it’s gone, it’s gone forever. When I was in my teens we could get bus through all the small towns and see Ireland in its backward beauty. When the motorways came thanks to the EU and bypassed all the towns, I was thinking “is this good? Makes travel time quicker but it’s not so nice and bad for business in the towns” now we see the downside of the EU. When something is gone it’s gone forever. And Ireland is gone forever. From now on it’s going to keep changing beyond anything we can imagine. Tragic. 😢
