Fast and the Furious and dragons?? such a cool concept. Too bad it didn't work. I love the movies but couldn't get past the 5th one I think (whichever is the last on with Paul Walker). But the 1st one is one of my faves and I have so much nostalgia when I rewatch it. It was one of the first movies I ever watched with English subtitles instead of Portuguese during an English class as a teenager.
ALL the nostalgia for the first one yessss!!! That’s so fun that you have that memory of it!
I accidentally read Richard Osman's sequel first on audio, The Man Who Died Twice, and hated it, 1 star. I haven't read The Thursday Murder Club.
haha oh no! I don't know if I would have hated it, but I'm half-way through the second one now and I definitely think the reading experience would be confusing and weird af at least, if I read it without reading the first one. 😆
I've been slumping hard and just reading manga and light novels lol. I've heard the Murder Club is supposed to get better but yeah I dnf'd first one, was just too bored.
I can definitely see it not being for everyone! I mean I even was a bit slow to get going with it at first!
Yay! I’m so glad you didn’t hate Rhapsody 😂 I think if I read it for the first time now I’d probably rate it lower as well, but I have rose-colour nostalgia glasses for it 🤭 I’m going to start the 2nd trilogy in July so I’ll let you know if it sucks or not haha

@@Shellesspace I feel like if I were someone who felt more inclined to push through, I wouldn't have ended up HATING Prophecy or anything, but it was just feeling pretty "Eh... cool enough, I guess?" With a few annoyances (*cough* Ashe) peppered in - haha
@@JashanaC Ashe is probably my least favourite character in that whole series. Blah! If you hate him it’s a good thing you dnf’d that book because it’s is ALL about them.

I haaate when characters are supposed to be charming and flirty but instead they're just annoying and weird :( so many romance plotlines are ruined for me by this lol.
