Cor blimey! A 'Septic' wot likes one of our WWll airplanes!? Gawd bless yer Guv'nor!!!🇬🇧 Serious bit - Many thanks for posting the 3 videos. I'm in awe of you guys who put out these vids - just amazing. I'm an old git, and I don't have any idea how you make them, I'm just grateful that you do. I'm just waiting for some masking sets for the roundels etc, then I'll get cracking on this kit. Got the CMK exhausts and Yahu I.P. too. This is a BEAST of an a.c., agreed. When you visited the RAF Museum did you see the Mk.ll in the main hall. You can get up real close - gives you a real feel for the power of these things! Discovered this video last night, and am now subscribed to your channel. Many thanks Will. 👍 P.S. - My personal favourite a.c. is one of yours 🇺🇸 - the Corsair F4U-1A . That engine, and those wings. Does it for me. 👌
dude that is class love the process the toil etc. there is amazing history to these planes brought to life by your unintentional but fascinating historic storytelling. so much nicer and real than a shiny plane first time out of the hangar. keep up the great vids mate
Making inane statements here just does‘nt cut it but I just like the fact that you have a bond with this aircraft and boy does it show on the end result! Roundels schmoundels - you have special leave from us lot to re-write history if you want! Great vid set Will, give us more. Dave.
Knocked this one outta the park, Will!!!! Trying those mask stencils myself, so far loving them And frustration is part of the ABC's of modelling as we all know. keep up the great work! Dane
Great job Will, lovely to see it finished and the alternate paint scheme is fantastic. Myself, waiting for a decent model of the ultimate Hawker piston in this scale, the Seafury FB11.
Great job as usual Will. Sorry I just discovered this series. Would love to see your technique and a little more explanation on the blotches, masks, etc. I think it would make a great video. And thanks for this one, and all your videos. I get a lot out of them. Can now do a pretty decent gloss coat using Gunze Leveling Thinner, GX100, or X-22 after watching your video on the subject. Doing the last spray in thinner really seems to make a difference. Again, thanks for all the education and would love to see more of it.
"what is up gangsters" 😁 what a great intro mate! you are the king for me :) anyway, the paintjob looks very realistic . the plane is "alive"! well done. regards from germany Robert
Thank you, sir. Much appreciated. Unfortunately, given that the 152 is quite possibly the ugliest airplane ever built there will never be one on my workbench but I do love the 190 a-model.
Watched this again in prep for my attempt at this kit (but the Hi-tech II) version with that beautiful, brutish Sabre engine... this is going to be a challenge for me, but I don't mind build challenges, just not STUPID engineering... This kit certainly looks the goods...
Go to www.hawkertyphoon.com. These people are restoring, to fly a Hawker Typhoon 1B. They have a new engine and parts. They hope to have the plane flying for the 2024 Normandy memorial day in France. Perhaps they can help with the motor for the Tempests in Florida. I knew someone who worked at Napier's works in Acton London UK during the war building the Sabre engine. It is one Heavy lump, but very compact for it's power for the period. Bristol helped sort the reliability problems of the sleeve valves of the Sabre motor but apparently the early engines were not built at all scrupiously.

google translate says " Like a wreck that rots in a hangar, especially not like an operational plane, they are always kept clean, I know what I'm talking about. the, it's a wreck". actually, you have no idea what you're talking about.

Just sublime...
Great model overall.......but the detail in the cockpit is FANTASTIC!!
Impressive work. You are getting better and more ambitious with every project. Still hoping for a Focke Wulf 190 or Ta 152 on your workbench...
