look like you are the only one patching master on RUclips.
In terms of dwm status bar what do you suggest? I need to show some stock prices but keep the power consumption low.
so dwmblocks and slstatus which is better? or there is some other suggestions?

Many thanks. Although I think you should use dwmblocks in this situation, SLstatus is a better option. But using xsetroot, which is already present on your system, is, in my opinion, the best option. For this, you only need to utilize your xinitrc file.

While Rofi allows for extensive customization, Dmenu operates a little bit faster.
