I have witnessed two great instant justice incidents in my lifetime that I wish I had on video. The first in Corona, Calif., a guy in a souped up Civic was driving like a maniac at high speed on the freeway, weaving in and out of lanes, tailgating cars, etc. Finally, traffic slowed and crawled. Yep, Mr. Speed Demon smashed his car into the back of a truck. He didnt appear to be hurt, but his car was a wreck. The other in Orange County, a guy in a pickup didnt want to wait his turn on the freeway onramp, so he drove on the shoulder to cut ahead of the line of cars, nearly hitting me. He gunned his engine as he started to enter traffic and smacked right into a stopped box truck. I still remember all kinds of front grille, headlight pieces, bumper pieces, etc., flying into the air at the impact. I dont think he was hurt but his truck had a few thousand dollars of damage.
@Mike Kennedy No; it was totaled!!! Cars these day don’t suffer thousands of dollars of damage without being totaled, unless the owner’s aren’t insured; then the vehicle is totaled and they have to figure out how to get it repaired or replaced on their own dime!!!

I Drove a Semi truck for 38 years and would see someone blow bye me and 1 - 2 miles ahead on the showlder the police would have them stopped and I would blow my horn and give a Thumbs up to the police officer.
I encounter selfish idiots on the road on almost every journey; I have never seen an "instant karma" moment like this, otherwise it would be all over youtube. Where are the police when I need them?
Make that maniac walk the rest of the way to his/ her destination... barefoot. Lots of maniac drivers never pay their fines and drive on suspended licenses. Real consequences, real effective results.

He continued in that lane for about a mile and then decided to move over to the exiting lane on the right as he approached a curve. He didn't see the cop (unmarked car) in the medium around the curve - but the other drivers did! No one would let him in and everyone 'honked' for attention. All my passengers waved as the cop pulled him over... 'Karma is a real B***h...'

I don't know how many tickets a cop can ride on one violation but that looks like to me unsafe passing on the right, driving on the shoulder excessive speed reckless driving and probably some more that I can't even think of.
I was driving to work one very dark morning on a two way road and a car behind me decides to pass on the double yellow line passing about 20 cars. One of them ended up being a cop and pulled him over immediately. I was laughing so hard.
The worst part about driving on the shoulder is when your exit is a half mile away, you save 30 minutes by hitting the shoulder, and absolutely no one is harmed. That infuriates me.
Looks like reflections on the windshield from cars that he's passing. You can see similar flashes going the opposite direction when the cars are passing him. That one was just brighter than most.
A driver in way TOO much of a hurry, driving on the emergency shoulder of the highway... Only to be caught red-handed by the POPO! What's the 🚗 to say to the 🚔 👮???
And I think for aggressive drivers they need to change your lawit is a $500 ticket and two points on your license if you get caught weaving in and out of traffic and cutting in front of truck drivers
When i was going to UCLA I lived in the valley and had to drive to school every day. I would see people going 60-70 mph like a rat on crack in the shoulder every day. That traffic was so frustrating and I was tempted to do it also but I never did. I don’t live anywhere near L.A. now and I was so glad to get out of that f.....g rat race.

I didn't know what state this was in. I looked up pictures of state police cars. This one matched with Illinois.
I knew that was Illinois State trooper as soon as I saw it. Looks like that is the southbound Kennedy Expressway.
