I have a G2 Winspace for the past 2 years with SRAM AXS. It has the Lun Gravel 700c wheels. I just rode the Seattle to Portland in one day 2 weeks ago. Fantastic bike. Light, fast, super comfortable, and very utilitarian. 700x44 Rene Herse tires @ 26 PSI. I’m Very impressed with Winspace. I did make it with hidden housing. Looks nice. One comment on the one you are trying. Isn’t even lighter than the Tarmac SL8 & the other one since yours has Ultegra & they had Dura-Ace? WOW Great reviews Arthur! Enjoy watching! :)

I have an slc 2.0 which I just bought back in may-2024. I wish I held off for the v3 but the v2 it's my first road bike after a long time I can say the bike feels very nice. Improvements to stiffness is welcomed. I think the lower rear seat stays and BB is plenty stiff enough but the upper parts like top tube and upper rear seat stays does flex. It may have to do with compliance. I can definitely feel flex in the fork or maybe the front rims which results in disc brake rub when pushing out in a sprint. Overall I love what theyve done with the v3. The only I don't like is the price tag. Which is way up from what I bought my v2 for. Although arguably compared to everything else. It's still modestly priced

No it's not. Version 2.0 is just lovely. Just got mine, and it has blown me away. I'm riding / racing for 40 years and my new bike gets 10/10. I've never riden anything this light: just under 7kg. 😮

WINSPACE & Carbotech Actually Make Frames For the Most Expensive Brands. The Reason WINSPACE Charge £1500 for the frame is because it doesn't matter if you buy it or not. They produce 60,000 Frames per year for other bike brand Manufacturers, they simply dont need public sales.
Cheap at $2000 via buying direct from China, no local as in Europe back. £1.29 to the Dollar = £1550 plus import duties So about the same price as Giant TCR? . Re blanked off axle threads. How do repair or re tap a damaged thread????
it's still not very cheap at all here in Thailand, as they charge the same price in every country: An average salary in Switzerland could buy a frame a week no problem; in Thailand it will take me a year to save up. All prices creeping up, and cycling is for the relatively ultra rich here. A greatbpity, and reflectioin of short-sighted, grabbing brands everywhere in this capitalist world. Not sure what? Chairman Mao would say! Strava the only company I know who have listened, and their subscription mirrors average salaries. Rant over, and back to my 2016 Caad12 that is feeling the years!

Seen a few Winspace bikes on various RUclips cycle channels these past couple of years and they seem to get good feedback....if money is an option eh ?
The Chinese brands could really improve visually by hiring some design firms to help them rebrand. Their brand logos, fonts and use of color often looks very rudimentary which I feel hurts the brand image. No matter how awesome the bike I can't help but cringe at the giant winspace logo placed without any thought and looking like it was made from a local craft store or the garish large white hyper on the wheels.
I almost went down the low-price Chinese direct-to-consumer road, but have opted not to. One reason is that when it comes time to sell my bike, good luck getting any value out of an off-brand bike that no one knows. Even name brand bikes have poor resale value. Maybe Winspace will someday be a household name that everyone recognizes and respects for being a good brand, but it certainly isn't yet.
I don’t buy bike with idea to sell it back. I do keep all my bikes. The re-sell value of used bike is fraction of the original price. I would prefer to hang it in my garage than sell it.

GC Performance often shares weights incorrectly. He looks online for 3 seconds - sees the lowest weight listed (for the smallest frame) - weights clearly labeled as being without hardware - then he buys a much larger size frame, weighs it with all the hardware, and declares the claimed weight is wrong. The guy is super unprofessional with his 'reviews'. He also did this with a Tavelo frame and then everyone in the comments corrected him. It's annoying looking for bike reviews and then seeing you already know way more about the frame than the guy supposedly reviewing it.
they don't own their manufacturing and thus cannot fulfill orders. The OEM manufacturing plant for SEKA is shared with Factor Factor seeing the rise of SEKA went to factory as said we are your biggest client. ditch SEKA the factory kicked SEKA out. SEKA new frame, Spear is very nice. I placed order. now they can't fulfill. they don't have their own manufacturing facility. they are now fucked with thousands of pre orders and no factory to make them. The brand may die. You may never get your frame. Who knows. That's what happens when you outsource manufacturing and not have your own facility.
If you want a lightweight bike, never put a DA/Ultegra crankset on it, as they are extremely heavy. Specialized should be concerned. Their fork issues on the new SL8 need to handled quickly and professionally or they will lose cutomer's faith and loyalty.

My Trek SLR is made in Taiwan! So is Specialized. They don't get my money again. I started building my own bikes and i can tell you these vs trek etc 90% the same. My honest opinion after building 3 bikes similar to this is the finsh on those higher priced bikes is the finish is slightly better for double the money! Watch closely those videos when they visit those factors in Taiwan ( slow motion) bikes are made in the same place.

I think winspace is a good company and I'll be rooting for them, also I'll be building this bike to test it out...BUT...I think as a company they fell into the trap of numbers. Even if they create the aethos killer, most people will still get the aethos at 3x the price. The quality they deliver is now above expectation but what they don't have is the cool factor. No one shows up to a group ride and says "WOW a winspace bike". They needs to create an s-work version of winspace. With the extra 2,000USD per bike they should create one of a kind hand made, limited edition masterpieces that scream WOW! Or even loose money on a halo bike which they currently don't have.

Only because that same advice came from a person who was you, only a few years before. I have no idea why anyone would buy a Specialized when you have bikes like Winspace. And even if you don't like Chinese, you'd choose Time instead. Specialized, overrated.

One thing life has taught me. A bike that accelerates quickly also slows down quickly so the guy behind you clips your wheel. If you go into a corner and stop pedaling the bike slows, forcing you to get out of the saddle and try to catch the group. It also weaves all over the road. Buy a steel bike. Be happy and safe.
My decades of riding don't agree with your conclusion. I see no reason for riding steel in today's world unless you're bike packing or just want a really durable bike.

Steel as a material perform better on the vibration damping than the carbon ones, which you pay high for stiffness also less weights, not a harmony of comfort which brings you satisfactory smiley face during the ride.

Repairing stripped or damaged threads in the dropouts would be a nightmare.
Sl8 is aero too though. My sl4 would be lighter than this if i put climbing wheels on it and im running 105 mechs. 6.82 kg with 50mm rims.

Should take a look at trigon HC. Made in Taiwan by a company that has been laying up frames for other brands until somewhat recently.

Don't do that. It's unlikely though. The threads are pretty big and they are on the far dropout side so the axle is aligned pretty well automatically.

No such thing as liability insurance for bike brands. Wilier don't even manufacture their frames. The frames are UCI approved as with any major brand
