Love that you are setting expectations of what your product actually protects. Not many companies who sell these things are saying that and just marketed in a way that it could protect from all sorts of things like a forcefield.
So was pretty excited to get this part from TST. I ran into an issue installing the "Y" geometry onto the frame on the left side which I did not run into on the right side and contacted support, but was less than estatic with the support. The gist of it they did not acknowledge there may be a tolerance issue in design or production. When measured with my Mitutoyo caliper (not cheap and is calibrated) of the opening of the part I'm reading a variance of 30.00mm to 30.02mm (which is fine), but when I measured the frame part on the bike where it goes to? It measured 30.31 to 30.33mm at the largest. Having that much difference no wonder the part doesn't go in smoothly. In order to get it in properly? I had to sand the opening on the part down a bit with a heavy duty grit sand paper (80 grit) to remove some material and smooth it out with 1000/2000 grit. Ontop of all this😅I had to paint match the chips.
FYI the left side faring 4mm hex head bolt conflicts with the tst slider frame mount. So if you have the tst nexus lights install the tst nexus lights first.
Outstanding! I was hoping you guys would be doing frame sliders. LOVE the set I have on N400. Your ZX4RR's seem a WAY better quality setup than my current sliders. Will be switching to TST soon.
They can but it's important to note that every crash is different. Crash Protection is meant to minimize the damage taken on but it will not prevent damage completely.
@@syntheticXstasy It depends on how it hits. The first thing it will hit is the exhaust if it falls on the right side, then the pegs, and then our sliders. After that, depending on how far it tips beyond that, it can lean over onto the fairings and gas tank.

Are zx4’s available in the US? I heard they are only overseas. what was your buying experience like?
They will be available in the US starting next year. Our buying experience was pretty hassle free thankfully!
I asked about them at the number 1 Kawasaki dealer in florida and they said they are very limited. the guy I spoke with said he's only seen 1 so far.
Thank you!
Looks good!
Does this sliders even save the fairings in a low speed/on stop drop?

@@TSTindustries If you gently lay the bike over on a perfectly flat floor, will any plastic touch the ground with these frame sliders?
