kai actually dropped his hat on accident but because he was so smooth about it & the mv is a one shot (so hard to film) they just kept going. & because of how popular growl was/is its not only played a lot but its covered A LOT by rookie groups so its not surprising you've seen or heard it. the tattoos you see in the ko ko bop video are not real but chanyeol does have a few tattoos in real life. A lot of exo's older mvs also have two versions, a korean version and a mandarin version (exo-k & exo-m) if you want to watch them on your own. they are a bit different. call me baby has a Chinese version too you should definetely check out "overdose" & some of lay's solo stuff like "honey" or "what u need"
This version of EXO's "Growl" is a one take video, which means that it was shot all in one take without any cuts or edits. However, although it is a one take video, this does not mean they used the very first take, it just means that every time anyone made a mistake they had to start all over again from the very beginning. They had to dance this choreography about 7 times and this was the take the director and producer decided to use. They actually danced this choreography until they physically could not do it any more. But, if you know what you are looking for, you will see that not even this take was technically "perfect" because, as you noticed, Kai drops the hat in the middle of the dance and he smoothly bends down and picks it up. He needed the hat at the end. But because it was done so effortlessly that most people don't even notice the mistake, or assume its just part of the choreography, they decided to use this footage anyway. In the beginning of the MV you start out by seeing the 6 EX0-K members and as the camera spins around you see the 6 EXO-M members. During this time there were 12 members in EXO and you see all 12 member in this MV. You are watching the EXO-K version of the song so you see the EXO-K members featured first. If you watch the EXO-M version you will see the EXO-M members featured more prominently. As you know, when EXO debuted they had 12 members and they were split up into 2 groups. EXO-K, which sang their songs in Korean and promoted in Korea, and EXO-M, which sang those same songs in Mandarin Chinese and promoted in China. EXO-K was made up of 6 Korean members (Suho, Baekhyun, D.O, Chanyeol Kai, and Sehun); and EXO- M was made up of 4 Chinese members (Kris, Luhan, Tao and Lay) and 2 Korean members (Xiumin and Chen). However, in 2014 Kris and Luhan left the group and Tao left in 2015. So, as you know, now EXO has 9 members. However, what is even more impressive is the fact that they also filmed a Mandarin version of this song and MV, so not only did they have to perfect the dance in the Korean version, but they also had to do it again in the Mandarin version. And the Mandarin version isn't exactly the same, because the EXO-M and EXO-K members had different parts in each of the MVs, so that just adds another element to this. You should also check out the Mandarin version to see the differences. All of EXO's MVs have both a Korean and a Mandarin version and each of the MVs are slightly different. So its worth checking out both versions. Plus, this will give you a chance to hear what the songs sound like in both Korean and Mandarin. EXO actually filmed 5 or 6 different MVs for the song "Growl." As you probably noticed when you searched for this video, they have a Korean performance version, which is the version you watched; an EXO-M Mandarin Chinese version; an EXO-K 2nd version and an EXO-M 2nd version, which are more like traditional MVs with a little more of a storyline; and they also have a drama version that combines their two songs "Growl" and "Wolf" and its like a mini K-drama that is more like a movie or TV show with a complete story and the members playing characters. You need to look up the lyrics to Growl to really understand the song, but pretty much they are saying "Girl stop tempting me, you are so sexy and beautiful that you make me want to Growl." You are mine." "Girl you take my breath away and make it so I can't control myself." "When you are near, all I can see is you." etc. It's kind of about love at first sight. EXO got so good at this choreography that they were able to perform the whole thing live on award shows and music programs just like they did in the MV. This video has all the 12 members but in the first part, all 6 of them were not in exo-k, cause Xiumin, Tao and Chen who are in Exo-m were there too. They just mixed up K and M members, 3 in both the grps so total 6😁

(ex members : Luhan - telekinesis, Kris - flight, Tao - time) So you can see glimpses of their power in each of their music videos. In Kokobop, the EXOs are high on some kokocandy so their powers have gone out of control. If you notice, Chen is playing with electric wires, D.O. fell down & the ground cracked, Suho is sitting on water in the washing machine, kai floating, crackers at the end show light & fire ~ for Baekhyun & Chanyeol & so on...thats what the whole Kokobop mv is about, them losing control over their powers. If you try & link all the exo mvs they form a story which the exols have been trying to figure out thus giving rise to numerous exo fan theories. Thus this is EXO in a nutshell. Well - I'm still not a fan of Wolf (although it's great LIVE) - and the Lightsaber MV is the most disappointing mv of all (they had all those special effects for MAMA but a Star Wars inspired mv gave us guys in a 7-11) - but yeah EXO has so many great songs
"Ko Ko Bop" was the first comeback where Lay was not able to participate with the group so there are only 8 members here. This was the start of when Lay was no longer able to work with EXO. As the Chinese member of the group, the political issues between Korea and China has prevented Lay from being able to participate in any activities with the rest of EXO. "Ko Ko Bop" was he first time we started to see just how difficult it would be for Lay to work with his Korean members within a Korean company. Starting with EXO's War and Power albums you won't see Lay in anything that EXO does, except for a brief 10 second cameo in the Korean version of EXO's "Tempo" MV and you will see and hear him for a a brief moment in the Mandarin version of "Tempo." Lay had to get special permission from the Chinese government to be allowed to even appear in the Tempo MVs and, even then, he wasn't allowed to work with the members. All of his parts had to be recorded as a solo and inserted into the MV and song, that is why you never see Lay dancing in "Tempo" or in any scenes with the other members of EXO. The Chinese government is preventing Lay from being able to work with EXO or do anything in Korea because it has banned its native mainland Chinese citizens from working with or participating in anything that has to do with Korea. Lay is one of the most famous celebrities in China right now, so everyone wants to work with him. He owns his own record label/studio in China and he produces his own music, as well as music for other artists. Plus, he is, or was, a youth ambassador to China appointed by the government, which means he has a lot of obligations in China. He is considered China's national producer. He is also an actor and he is a spokesperson for a lot of Chinese products and causes -- he is the EXO member with the most endorsement deals. He is also a host of reality programs and is appearing on numerous variety shows in China, so this all keeps him very busy. He is one of the most sought after celebrities in China so he spends a lot of time living in China and away from the other EXO members. Because of his super busy schedule and because of, as I mentioned, some issues between the Chinese and Korean government, Lay has not been a part of EXO activities for more than 3 years now, other than, as I said, his cameo appearance in the "Tempo" MV and his brief vocal part in the Mandarin version of "Tempo" MV and song. His hiatus from EXO is not something he has chosen, but its something that has sort of been forced upon him by the government. So he has recently been working hard to find ways around those restrictions, which explains one reason why he has been releasing so many English songs lately. By producing songs in English for the U.S. market it allows him and SM to do collaboration projects which give him a chance to keep his connection to EXO, without actually breaking any rules, and it allows SM to connect the stories in his MVs to EXO's storyline. Now, I am no where near an expert on the topic, and I admit that I only understand a very minor part of what is going on between the Chinese and Korean government, but as I understand it, part of the reason for the ban on Chinese and Korean workers between the two countries is that China is refusing to align itself with the U.S. or South Korea to protect themselves with deployment of the THAAD missile defense system in South Korea. North Korea and China want to get rid of the rocket system that is meant to shoot down a nuclear missile if North Korea were to launch one at South Korea or the U.S. Another reason why China doesn't like the THAAD system is because China and the U.S. don't have the best relationship, so if the U.S. and China become on even worse terms China is afraid the U.S. could also use THAAD against them. China says the THAAD system is just provoking them to actually start a nuclear war, and until they remove it or at least move it back from the South Korean boarder, they will continue their ban on Korean products, workers and the Hallyu wave from working in China and for its native Chinese citizens from working with Korean companies. China feels like the Korean government is taking away its native commodities by allowing Chinese people to work in Korea. The issue is even more complicated than this, but that is one part of it. And now, with the recent conflict with the Chinese government and Hong Kong, more political tension has continued to make it difficult for our Chinese Idols to work with their Korean companies and groups. With many Chinese Idols recently coming out in support of the Chinese government and publicly supporting "One China," this has made it once again even less likely that Lay will be able to work with EXO in the near future. With Lay's deep ties to the Chinese government and with the fact that he is one of the most popular celebrities in China right now, he can't afford to be blacklisted by the Chinese government. He needs to be able to work and live in China as freely as possible. So, regardless of how he might feel politically on a personal level, he has to come out in support of the Chinese government publicly, which puts him at odds with many other counties views on the subject. With pressure from the Chinese government, it may have been difficult for him to stay neutral, or at least not make his opinion public, so unfortunately he is now receiving some backlash from people outside of mainland China. But no matter what, Lay always makes sure to find a way to show fans that he is, and will always be, a member of EXO -- he is always supporting his EXO brothers even from afar. Most recently we were able to see Lay back together with the rest of EXO when Lay came to Korea to be there for the day that D.O. enlisted in the military. And in most of Lay's solo work we have nods to EXO and how the stories in his solo MVs are connected to EXO's storyline. He always works hard to remind everyone how important EXO and EXO-Ls are to him. Lay is known as one of the hardest working artist in the industry because he is such a perfectionist and he pretty much does it all himself.When it comes to his solo work If you look at the credits for his albums, Lay actually wrote and composed and produced the whole album himself, including the English lyrics. Yes I am sure he had consultants who helped him find the right words, but if you know him, you know that there is almost nothing that he is involved in that he doesn't have 100% control of himself. When it comes to Lay's solo work he does it all himself -- he writes, composes and produces the songs (including the rap sections), he has a large part in choreographing the dances and he has a hand in coming up with and directing the MVs. There really is almost nothing he can't do. That's including learning English so he could make a crossover into the U.S. music market. Lay was the first EXO member to have a solo career and last year, he became the first EXO member to make his U.S. debut and he produced his first all English album. "Namanana" was a half English/half Mandarin album and it was his American debut release as part of his U.S. tour and promotions. Every Mandarin song on his "Namanana" album has an all English version. He followed that album up with "Honey" which also has an all English version. Because Lay is not allowed to promote in Korea right now, SM has found a way to promote Lay as part of EXO's storyline by partnering with him to release English songs and to tie his MVs in with EXO's story. Everything EXO does, including several of Lay's solo releases ties into the fact that he is a member of EXO -- its SM's way of making sure that even though he might not be able to work with the members right now, that they still make sure to show fans that his storyline and presence as part of EXO is still really important to both Lay and SM. (FYI: "Ko Ko Bob" was part of their War album and it's from the same album as their song "The Eve" which you have seen the dance practice to.)

Fun fact: the car Baekhyun leaned on in Ko Ko Bop MV, has a plate number L-1485 (means EXO-L August 5, 2014. It's EXO-Ls birthday) Only Chanyeol (the guy with deep voice, pink haired in KoKoBop) has 5 tattoos :) Call Me Baby was the last song before Tao left EXO, and Ko Ko Bop MV is only with 8 members and first MV without LAY. I hope it's EXO's month. And since its December, you must listen to their winter albums. Its so freaking good. Their songs just makes you cry. Yes, Growl was taken in an abandoned building. If you pay attention, at around 4:32-4:34, in the right window behind Luhan's left shoulder, you can see "something" is in there. It looks like a human shape, but with a very long arms and very odd body. It was so viral and many people considered it as a ghost. P.S : be careful, a lot of growl reaction video got taken down because of copyright.

In "Call Me Baby" you will see there are only 10 members.This was the first MV after 2 of their Chinese members left (Kris and Luhan) and this was the last MV were we see Tao, the third Chinese member that left the group. Tao (orange shoes) left the group shortly after this. In the beginning when they had 12 members they produced all their songs in both Korean and Mandarin and they learned all the lyrics in both Korean and Mandarin. But after the Chinese members left, they no longer had enough EXO-M members to promote on their own so they officially combined the groups into one with 9 members. Now that they no longer promote as the two separate groups, they now only produce their main tracks in both Korean and Mandarin and almost every MV will have a Korean version and a Mandarin version, which will be shot as two individual MVs. Lay is the only Chinese member left, but all the members learn the lyrics in Mandarin for their Mandarin versions of their songs and they all work really hard to make sure their pronunciation is perfect in any language they perform in. You should also check out the EXO-M Mandarin Chinese version of "Call Me Baby." If you watch the two MVs side by side, you will see that the members that are featured in each part are different and even in the dances where you think "it's the same" there are different members doing different parts. Their MVs may be similar, but that's only because they filmed the MV twice and deliberately made the scenes look the same. Also if you really pay attention, the scenes may look the same, but the members who sing the parts are different depending on the version that you watch. In the Mandarin version you will see the EXO-M members featured more (Lay, Xiumin, Chen and Tao) and they sing the main parts, and in the Korean version the EXO-K members (D.O., Baekhyun, Chanyeol, Sehun, Suho and Kai) sing those same parts. The scenes may look the same, but the singers are different. In the Mandarin version a lot of the main parts where sung by Lay but in the Korean version D.O sings those parts and in the Mandarin version the rap was done by Tao and Xiumin, where in the Korean version its Chanyeol and Sehun, etc.
Kai must have felt super pressured when he dropped the hat because they were doing the whole thing in one shot. If you really want to see Kai without a shirt you have to check out his concert performance of "Confessions." Pick the one with the most views, it should be the best version. He performed that song at every concert during their most recent world tour, so there are a lot of different versions. But as the tour went along, his performance got better or "worse" depending on how you look at it LOL. ;P

This version of EXO's "Growl" is a one take video, which means that it was shot all in one take without any cuts or edits. However, although it is a one take video, this does not mean they used the very first take, it just means that every time anyone made a mistake they had to start all over again from the very beginning. They had to dance this choreography about 7 times and this was the take the director and producer decided to use. They actually danced this choreography until they physically could not do it any more. But, if you know what you are looking for, you will see that not even this take was technically "perfect" because, as you noticed, Kai drops the hat in the middle of the dance and he smoothly bends down and picks it up. He needed the hat at the end. But because it was done so effortlessly that most people don't even notice the mistake, or assume its just part of the choreography, they decided to use this footage anyway.
In the beginning of the MV you start out by seeing the 6 EX0-K members and as the camera spins around you see the 6 EXO-M members. During this time there were 12 members in EXO and you see all 12 member in this MV. You are watching the EXO-K version of the song so you see the EXO-K members featured first. If you watch the EXO-M version you will see the EXO-M members featured more prominently. As you know, when EXO debuted they had 12 members and they were split up into 2 groups. EXO-K, which sang their songs in Korean and promoted in Korea, and EXO-M, which sang those same songs in Mandarin Chinese and promoted in China. EXO-K was made up of 6 Korean members (Suho, Baekhyun, D.O, Chanyeol Kai, and Sehun); and EXO- M was made up of 4 Chinese members (Kris, Luhan, Tao and Lay) and 2 Korean members (Xiumin and Chen). However, in 2014 Kris and Luhan left the group and Tao left in 2015. So, as you know, now EXO has 9 members.
However, what is even more impressive is the fact that they also filmed a Mandarin version of this song and MV, so not only did they have to perfect the dance in the Korean version, but they also had to do it again in the Mandarin version. And the Mandarin version isn't exactly the same, because the EXO-M and EXO-K members had different parts in each of the MVs, so that just adds another element to this. You should also check out the Mandarin version to see the differences. All of EXO's MVs have both a Korean and a Mandarin version and each of the MVs are slightly different. So its worth checking out both versions. Plus, this will give you a chance to hear what the songs sound like in both Korean and Mandarin.
EXO actually filmed 5 or 6 different MVs for the song "Growl." As you probably noticed when you searched for this video, they have a Korean performance version, which is the version you watched; an EXO-M Mandarin Chinese version; an EXO-K 2nd version and an EXO-M 2nd version, which are more like traditional MVs with a little more of a storyline; and they also have a drama version that combines their two songs "Growl" and "Wolf" and its like a mini K-drama that is more like a movie or TV show with a complete story and the members playing characters. Plus, there are several iconic live performances of "Growl" as well.
You need to look up the lyrics to Growl to really understand the song, but pretty much they are saying "Girl stop tempting me, you are so sexy and beautiful that you make me want to Growl." You are mine." "Girl you take my breath away and make it so I can't control myself." "When you are near, all I can see is you." etc. It's kind of about love at first sight.
EXO got so good at this choreography that they were able to perform the whole thing live on award shows and music programs just like they did in the MV. Its one of the reasons why EXO is now Korea's official national Idols. "Growl" came out in 2013 about a year after EXO debuted, and up util that point EXO weren't very well known or popular. When they first debuted, many people called them "SM's biggest mistake." Because the concept of them being aliens from Planet EXO and the fact that they were designed specifically to debut in both Korea and China and several foreign Chinese members were chosen to make up their own sub-unit, etc. many people had a hard time understanding how EXO would ever be successful. The group started out being branded as SM's first failure, and they thought Lee SooMan (the founder of SM) was crazy for coming up with the group. But when the one take video for "Growl" was released, everyone began to take notice. This video was pretty groundbreaking, no group had done a one take video quite like this and it proved to the mainstream audiences that SM really did know what they were doing. Now everyone in Korea and around the world knows EXO and they have become one of the most popular groups that are one of the biggest money-makers for SM. "Growl" has become what they are most known for. EXO even performed this song at the closing ceremonies of the Winter Olympics last year.
This video has all the 12 members but in the first part, all 6 of them were not in exo-k, cause Xiumin, Tao and Chen who are in Exo-m were there too. They just mixed up K and M members, 3 in both the grps so total 6😁

EXO's concept is that they aliens from EXO planet who have arrived on earth, so each of them have a set of powers. Xiumin - frost, suho - water, lay - healing, Baekhyun - light, Chen - electricity, Chanyeol - fire, D.O. - earth/strength, Kai - teleportation, Sehun - wind. (ex members : Luhan - telekinesis, Kris - flight, Tao - time) So you can see glimpses of their power in each of their music videos. In Kokobop, the EXOs are high on some kokocandy so their powers have gone out of control. If you notice, Chen is playing with electric wires, D.O. fell down & the ground cracked, Suho is sitting on water in the washing machine, kai floating, crackers at the end show light & fire ~ for Baekhyun & Chanyeol & so on...thats what the whole Kokobop mv is about, them losing control over their powers. If you try & link all the exo mvs they form a story which the exols have been trying to figure out thus giving rise to numerous exo fan theories. Thus this is EXO in a nutshell. their songs and dance moves might be familiar to you because many other kgroup do covers of EXO songs. and you can see in most auditions that EXO songs and dances were used by candidates. So don't be shocked to see other kpop group doing EXO covers because most of them are proud EXO fanboys.

Well - I'm still not a fan of Wolf (although it's great LIVE) - and the Lightsaber MV is the most disappointing mv of all (they had all those special effects for MAMA but a Star Wars inspired mv gave us guys in a 7-11) - but yeah EXO has so many great songs
"Ko Ko Bop" was the first comeback where Lay was not able to participate with the group so there are only 8 members here. This was the start of when Lay was no longer able to work with EXO. As the Chinese member of the group, the political issues between Korea and China has prevented Lay from being able to participate in any activities with the rest of EXO. "Ko Ko Bop" was he first time we started to see just how difficult it would be for Lay to work with his Korean members within a Korean company. Starting with EXO's War and Power albums you won't see Lay in anything that EXO does, except for a brief 10 second cameo in the Korean version of EXO's "Tempo" MV and you will see and hear him for a a brief moment in the Mandarin version of "Tempo." Lay had to get special permission from the Chinese government to be allowed to even appear in the Tempo MVs and, even then, he wasn't allowed to work with the members. All of his parts had to be recorded as a solo and inserted into the MV and song, that is why you never see Lay dancing in "Tempo" or in any scenes with the other members of EXO. The Chinese government is preventing Lay from being able to work with EXO or do anything in Korea because it has banned its native mainland Chinese citizens from working with or participating in anything that has to do with Korea.
Lay is one of the most famous celebrities in China right now, so everyone wants to work with him. He owns his own record label/studio in China and he produces his own music, as well as music for other artists. Plus, he is, or was, a youth ambassador to China appointed by the government, which means he has a lot of obligations in China. He is considered China's national producer. He is also an actor and he is a spokesperson for a lot of Chinese products and causes -- he is the EXO member with the most endorsement deals. He is also a host of reality programs and is appearing on numerous variety shows in China, so this all keeps him very busy. He is one of the most sought after celebrities in China so he spends a lot of time living in China and away from the other EXO members. Because of his super busy schedule and because of, as I mentioned, some issues between the Chinese and Korean government, Lay has not been a part of EXO activities for more than 3 years now, other than, as I said, his cameo appearance in the "Tempo" MV and his brief vocal part in the Mandarin version of "Tempo" MV and song.
His hiatus from EXO is not something he has chosen, but its something that has sort of been forced upon him by the government. So he has recently been working hard to find ways around those restrictions, which explains one reason why he has been releasing so many English songs lately. By producing songs in English for the U.S. market it allows him and SM to do collaboration projects which give him a chance to keep his connection to EXO, without actually breaking any rules, and it allows SM to connect the stories in his MVs to EXO's storyline.
Now, I am no where near an expert on the topic, and I admit that I only understand a very minor part of what is going on between the Chinese and Korean government, but as I understand it, part of the reason for the ban on Chinese and Korean workers between the two countries is that China is refusing to align itself with the U.S. or South Korea to protect themselves with deployment of the THAAD missile defense system in South Korea. North Korea and China want to get rid of the rocket system that is meant to shoot down a nuclear missile if North Korea were to launch one at South Korea or the U.S. Another reason why China doesn't like the THAAD system is because China and the U.S. don't have the best relationship, so if the U.S. and China become on even worse terms China is afraid the U.S. could also use THAAD against them. China says the THAAD system is just provoking them to actually start a nuclear war, and until they remove it or at least move it back from the South Korean boarder, they will continue their ban on Korean products, workers and the Hallyu wave from working in China and for its native Chinese citizens from working with Korean companies. China feels like the Korean government is taking away its native commodities by allowing Chinese people to work in Korea. The issue is even more complicated than this, but that is one part of it.
And now, with the recent conflict with the Chinese government and Hong Kong, more political tension has continued to make it difficult for our Chinese Idols to work with their Korean companies and groups. With many Chinese Idols recently coming out in support of the Chinese government and publicly supporting "One China," this has made it once again even less likely that Lay will be able to work with EXO in the near future. With Lay's deep ties to the Chinese government and with the fact that he is one of the most popular celebrities in China right now, he can't afford to be blacklisted by the Chinese government. He needs to be able to work and live in China as freely as possible. So, regardless of how he might feel politically on a personal level, he has to come out in support of the Chinese government publicly, which puts him at odds with many other counties views on the subject. With pressure from the Chinese government, it may have been difficult for him to stay neutral, or at least not make his opinion public, so unfortunately he is now receiving some backlash from people outside of mainland China.
But no matter what, Lay always makes sure to find a way to show fans that he is, and will always be, a member of EXO -- he is always supporting his EXO brothers even from afar. Most recently we were able to see Lay back together with the rest of EXO when Lay came to Korea to be there for the day that D.O. enlisted in the military. And in most of Lay's solo work we have nods to EXO and how the stories in his solo MVs are connected to EXO's storyline. He always works hard to remind everyone how important EXO and EXO-Ls are to him.

Lay was the first EXO member to have a solo career and last year, he became the first EXO member to make his U.S. debut and he produced his first all English album. "Namanana" was a half English/half Mandarin album and it was his American debut release as part of his U.S. tour and promotions. Every Mandarin song on his "Namanana" album has an all English version. He followed that album up with "Honey" which also has an all English version. Because Lay is not allowed to promote in Korea right now, SM has found a way to promote Lay as part of EXO's storyline by partnering with him to release English songs and to tie his MVs in with EXO's story. Everything EXO does, including several of Lay's solo releases ties into the fact that he is a member of EXO -- its SM's way of making sure that even though he might not be able to work with the members right now, that they still make sure to show fans that his storyline and presence as part of EXO is still really important to both Lay and SM.

Yes, Growl was taken in an abandoned building. If you pay attention, at around 4:32-4:34, in the right window behind Luhan's left shoulder, you can see "something" is in there. It looks like a human shape, but with a very long arms and very odd body. It was so viral and many people considered it as a ghost.
P.S : be careful, a lot of growl reaction video got taken down because of copyright.

In "Call Me Baby" you will see there are only 10 members.This was the first MV after 2 of their Chinese members left (Kris and Luhan) and this was the last MV were we see Tao, the third Chinese member that left the group. Tao (orange shoes) left the group shortly after this.
In the beginning when they had 12 members they produced all their songs in both Korean and Mandarin and they learned all the lyrics in both Korean and Mandarin. But after the Chinese members left, they no longer had enough EXO-M members to promote on their own so they officially combined the groups into one with 9 members. Now that they no longer promote as the two separate groups, they now only produce their main tracks in both Korean and Mandarin and almost every MV will have a Korean version and a Mandarin version, which will be shot as two individual MVs. Lay is the only Chinese member left, but all the members learn the lyrics in Mandarin for their Mandarin versions of their songs and they all work really hard to make sure their pronunciation is perfect in any language they perform in.
You should also check out the EXO-M Mandarin Chinese version of "Call Me Baby." If you watch the two MVs side by side, you will see that the members that are featured in each part are different and even in the dances where you think "it's the same" there are different members doing different parts. Their MVs may be similar, but that's only because they filmed the MV twice and deliberately made the scenes look the same. Also if you really pay attention, the scenes may look the same, but the members who sing the parts are different depending on the version that you watch. In the Mandarin version you will see the EXO-M members featured more (Lay, Xiumin, Chen and Tao) and they sing the main parts, and in the Korean version the EXO-K members (D.O., Baekhyun, Chanyeol, Sehun, Suho and Kai) sing those same parts. The scenes may look the same, but the singers are different. In the Mandarin version a lot of the main parts where sung by Lay but in the Korean version D.O sings those parts and in the Mandarin version the rap was done by Tao and Xiumin, where in the Korean version its Chanyeol and Sehun, etc.

Okay, but I love that you say, "No worries!" after seeing there aren't subtitles/captions. I really appreciate that! It _does_ bother me that only in the last year or two SM has had them on their new music videos, but some people make a bigger deal out of it than needed. Plus, I always have to watch a video at least a second time if there are subtitles because I can't pay attention to everything at once.
