I have to disagree with you, Pr. Goia. Moses was only up on Mt. Sinai 40 days and nights twice. He does re-state the story in Deuteronomy, but even if you counted that as another 2 times, that's still only 4 times. I don't see anywhere that would warrant saying he was on Mt. Sinai 40 days and nights 7 different times. That would be 490 days which is more than a year. They weren't even at Mt. Sinai for a full year, so that isn't really possible.
