@@KimjohanJapon Luffys devil fruit is one of the best, by far. Still he barely won against kaido whos devil fruit is just a support. kaido said it himself: haki is what matters. look at gol d roger, garp, shanks, oden, rayleigh, etc.
And he beat kaido mostly with his haki. Luffys devil fruit is also just a support, making him able to reach his enemies. Even with a small fist he was able to block every kaido attack or crack the sky open.

he is in no way stronger than rayleigh, you have to remember that rayleigh was stated to be close to rogers strength who in 1 move defeated oden. also the fact that in the anime, we can see gaban and oden fighting in the same level. i would say hes close to rayleigh since rayleigh and gaban may not have a large gap in power but rayleigh is deffo stronger. i replied to a 1 year comment cuz idk bored ig

@@Baraskar_Tabish So, it's practically starting to be common knowledge after Noodle's video, but I'll explain the problem anyways.
Animation is usually done in 8, 12 or 24 drawings per second (called 3s, 2s or 1s).
The format in which you watch an anime is usually 24fps, but since animators rarely do 24 drawings per second, it practically switches between 8, 12 and 24 fps, even if the video is coded in a 24fps format.
When you upscale animations, you add frames that were not supposed to be there and that completely shatter artistic intent behind the timing and the drawings per second the animator had chosen to draw his animation.
For example, in a 3s animation, I animate e quarter of a second punch (3 different drawings), to give my punch an high sense of speed, since the viewer can barely see it.
Now, when you upscale an animation, you basically quadruple the number of these 3 frames, by forcefully adding frames in-between of the animation.
So now, my really strong and speedy punch, becomes a ...slow, linear, boring, weighty and junky punch that it's 4 TIMES slower than how it was suppoded to be.
It's basically what happens everytime someone upscales animation to 60fps, it completely ruins timing and snappy movements.
For example, try to compare the first seconds of this video opposed to the original 2s one, instead of conveing an high speed motion, here it looks so linear and boring.
0:24 just looks flat out embarrassing, it doesn't even look like he's falling, it looks like he's awkwardly flying down because the motion is just so weighty and slow.
The strength Kaido puts at 0:15 to get up and prepare the flame is completely lost, it doesn't look like a body is moving, it just looks like he's slowly rising up, where in the original, it looked like he was actually rising himself and HIS weight alongside.
And that's the main problem, the animation process just comes out unnatural, unnecessarily weighty when it doesn't need to, unnecessarily linear to the point where actual intende weight, speed and strenght and subtle movements that WERE supposed to be in the animation are completely lost.
I'd suggest you watch Noodle's video called "more fps ≠ better" to have a more practical demonstration, since I can't do much more with a comment section.
