I'm still in No Yankee, but I have had single pot hauls over 1K and I don't know why. Last run I had over half my pots were 8 - 10 keepers per pot.

time passes when you fast travel so the price changed in that time at the end

Not only that, when you sell at the same port, your basically flooding the market and that will drop the fish prices down
