Hey Kakarot197, I really love these Ver. anime figures and collected a good number of them. So it’s really good to see that you enjoyed this one as well. But I just wanna say the 0083 GMs have very serious design flaws. Recently there are many collectors reporting there were terrible cracks at the ankle ball and socket joints out of the box for the first batch of the GM Quel. I personally own a GM custom figure which uses the same set of joints and the right ankle joint cracked recently when I pulled the feet out of that socket joint because I wanna sand it a bit. And now there is no way to fix it. The ankle joints for these GMs may be too tight or too loose out of the box, but don’t move it too much and do NOT ever take the ball joint out of that socket. It’s gonna break. For some reasons most of the GM kai’s are ok although they are all sharing the same parts. Ppl suspect it’s because it’s made in a different factory where there is better QC. Make sure you check the ankle joints when you get the GM Quel.
To add. The factory that made the GM Quel is absolute trash. They are known for screwing up many Bandai figures and toys. A Chinese reviewer is really into Hazels machines bought 6 GM Quel’s and all of them have cracks at the ankle joints. But most robot spirits figures actually have very good qualities. The most recent Gerbera Tetra is good, and the GP-01 FB is very amazing.
@@narutoman876 I am from China so I mainly saw collectors talking about it on some Chinese forums. I left you a comment about the two links I found regarding to the issue but I think RUclips won’t let me send it because of “Safety” issues (it’s funny that they are doing this). But I can confirm with you the issue does exist. I can also show a picture of my own GM custom if I get the chance.
@@sphinx5875 Thank you for the information! I just checked all my versions of the GM Kai/Custom I have and none of them have cracked ankle sockets thankfully.
@@sphinx5875 Thanks a lot dude! I just bought a new gm quel ver anime and noticed its ankles were a bit loose and immediately checked those balljoints....yup, both cracked out of the box! And back it goes :') Edit: second one arrived....broken ankles again. This, indeed, doesnt bode well. :')
This comment reminds me of the limited edition HGUC GM Kai Space type. Kit's so rare that I had to buy another normal GM Kai and repaint it into the Space type, out of desperation.
Same but bandai doesn't care and people will say, "iT dOeSnT ne3D 4 ReViVe" I was arguing about the Dom getting a revive but he was against it. I bet these type of ppl are okay with 8 grand daddies a year.
@@Darth_Anomalous the HG GM Kai's number is bigger than 100, which is my personal standard as to whether it needs a revive or not, in this case, it doesn't, it's new enough HG Dom on the other hand, is much older and does need a revive, but since the HG Dom R35 is brand new, it's obvious Bandai was planning for a revive at that point, the thing is it's been years already
I much prefer the bulkier/boxy concept art picture proportions than the slimmer anime ones. A 20m mobile suit needs to look heavy. It's why the Mk II is objectively the best looking mobile suit and why everyone who disagrees is a poo poo head who likes girls.
would you be able to try ridding of the seam lines especially on those thighs? i'd assume the parts are still made of unpainted plastic so that may be possible! it's so unfortunate that it has to be in front like that..
Top 5 Worst GM Type MS (in terms of performance) 1)- GM Cold Districts Type 2)- Jegan (F91) 3)- Jegan Type A2 (General Revil) 4)- Jegan (Char's Counterattack) 4)- GM II (Zeta, Unicorn)
Jegan is not really a GM. Jegan is kinda its own thing. They took some principles from the GM but it's not a GM. Edit: GM sniper ii is not even bad wtf? It's on par with the Original gundam. Fedies just have bad pilots. Bad pilots does not equal bad suit.

Robot Damashii figures are, technically, non-scale. However, they fit in so well that it's difficult to tell.
The GM Kai was the first ever Gunpla I built, happy to see it got the figure treatment.
i also got a gm kai (type c), but to try and troop build now is a bitch.
Don't doubt my boy Lieutenant Burning for punching that Xamel, he was just giving him a fighting chance
he's old but still a badass lol
3:33 I wish the HGUC proportions were this good
I'm getting my first robot spirits figure soon and I'm excited!
Got my GM kai for 40 dollars and I'm very satisfied with the figure.
Robot Spirit looks way better than the HG itself.
Still can't army build them 😔
For the price you can get 4 or 5 of the hg so It better look better
We may never ever get a revive of the og HG but at least we got this. Still, 60 - 70 USD is too much to try to army build them.
That and the minor weapon diversity.
Now if only the Space type for the GM Kai wasn't double the price. I prefer those colors more than the ground type colors.
Not to mention the ground colors version barely has that much screen time when compared to the space colors

Kit's so rare that I had to buy another normal GM Kai and repaint it into the Space type, out of desperation.
how to know if the kit is good:
when kakarot tells the price in a positive way
Gundam 0083 was like TopGun but with Giant robots. No Space Magic, no NewTypes, just good combat.
But unlike Top Gun. The 0083's MC actually failed at almost everything. Even his girfriend was a pity sloppy second from his enemy 😂.
@@androyus 08th MS Team was better with this with Shiro lol
When are we going to get the next part to what if Amuro got the Alex Gundam?
ready to pull a gangsta move on a Xamel, lol.
You about to throw your wallet at it. I want Xamel too.
Now review Chars GM type C.
That review would be just 3 times faster.
This is sp cool... thanks for sharing!
I'd purchase more of these RDs if they weren't so damn expensive.
Lol good thing Kakarot doesn't have 3 k's in it other wise that discount code would be a little suspicious

i wonder why he didn't review the build divers / re rise kit ? they are absolutely dope and recommend to showed up
Imagine they do the GM Wagtail? HA, never gonna happen 🥲
It looks really cool but for the price i can get 3 hg gm type c and at least 4 after things like shipping and seller markup

god it needs panel lining
