I saw a Daewoo fridge an year back in my trip to Fiji Islands, Australia, and seeing that logo got all nostalgic about my uncle's car about 20 years back. He is no more unfortunately with us, but his sweet memories are always there.
I remember in 2011 when i was in 6th std i saw some of my neighbour owning a Matiz and i really loved it. We had a Maruti 800 AC (sadly we sold it in 2015) but i loved the matiz so much. I have a toy pull back matiz because i love the car
My father used to drive with gold one as a Friend version with a rear spoiler. It has never broken, the car had had the only problem with brakes once. Good memories, I'm gonna buy Daewoo Lanos or Nexia in the future, hope it'll happen.
I am using this car, Very good performance and powerful AC.. very comfortable for City use and small family... Adequate spares available in Kerala and Coimbatore and cochin... We love Matiz always
Matiz is really good car. It is better than any other 800 cc car today. It has very good pick up, breaking and chasis steering coordination at any speed. It is easy to drive. But when it will restart its production.

I had an 2004 1.0l 64hp SE from 2015/2018 I had driven ~25000km on this car at that time period. Only stuff that broke down was one steering knuckle, so I changed both. The car only had 75000km when I got it, the gearbox was bunchy but it made it's job till I sold it. I had trouble getting some parts like exhaust manifold here in Europe so I had to life with it like it was, but rust was it's bigger problem the reason I sold it. This thing was also fast 170 kmh on the highway no problem.

Awesome bro...but my matiz is imported from Korea.. that time daweoo import matiz from Korea by ship after that when daweoo manufactured plant setup india the matiz start building here...all parts are available but delhi made...even some part of matiz match with maruti 800 not all part same part....u can go for that car...I'm huge fan of matiz...only matiz part u can find easily but u cant find cielo part.....Matiz engine is best engine...powerful n life long its run without any breakdown features is also good but that time it is best features car compare with it rivals santro n indica..... best of luck for your new car...MATIZ 😊....hope so u like my msg as a genuine owner...I share with u
As Daewoo Motors stop their entire operation in early 2000 we cant find any daewoo authorized spare parts dealer. So its LOCATION matters & have to find one in your location we can provide some options to find one 1) Find a good All Brand Spare parts Dealers / Distributors , who can Arrange Matiz spare parts .(in your Location). 2) If you find any matiz owner in your location just enquire about where they service his/her vehicle , spare parts provider 3) In facebook search for matiz group and enquire (mention your state & district ) 4) Find a good workshops , who can provide service @ reasonable rate. Also enquire them about spare parts availability in your location (Because few service centre doesn't provide service to older vehicle)

Parts are available but life of parts is now were comparable to genuine once. Skilled mechanics are also rare..
