DJ Vlad recently spoke to TK Kirkland about his failed attempt to organize a $100,000 interview with OJ Simpson. Vlad explained that he had secured the funding required and approached Simpson's team for an interview. However, negotiations fell through over payment negotiations. OJ Simpson's team insisted on receiving the money upfront, but Vlad, fearful of a premature interview termination or a no-show, suggested various alternatives such as paying half upfront. Speaking from past experiences, such as paying DMX for an interview that never happened due to his untimely death, Vlad stood his ground and did not agree to their payment terms. Despite being disappointed that the interview would have been Simpson's "only real-life story interview," Vlad felt he made the right move to protect his company.

It’s about profit. Vlad’s network is not as big as Oprah’s to generate a ton of profit from an interview, especially since he couldn’t talk much about murders.
Plus, no one likes to be scammed. Vlad’s personal bank account probably has more than his business bank account too. He’s separated his finances.
He did say that, in the context of being paid “only” 100k for something he doesn’t want to do. Here the context is PAYING somebody upfront for an interview with the potential that they scam him & run with the money, or are only willing to do a boring interview.

I also worked 26 in law enforcement on city/ state/ federal level. I also am a licensed clinical Social worker who worked on san Quentin Deathrow as a behavioral analyst( providing therapy to Deathrow inmates as clinical and earning my Licensed Clinical Social Worker. You can't trust a person who hasn't gained your trust/ loyalty/ friendship/ honesty. Leopard doesn't change his spots and past behavior is a blueprint for future behavior. The time to make changes is between 16 and 25. If your past that age the likelihood of yiu changing goes down significantly as it becomes a learned behavior.
