This kind of content is exactly what we need more of. I like the fact that you stuck to just 2 colors. It gets a little crazy when 3 or 4 colors are compared. Thanks so much 😊
I’m so glad you found this helpful! I get overwhelmed with too many options too, so I tend to like to keep it straightforward and simple…thank you for watching! 🫶🏼
Thank u so much for this comparison. You helped me choose Iced Latte Macchiato. I purchased Wavy Day in Shaded Sand and it was just too brown for me. So now I am deciding between the Macchiato and Biscuit. Thanks again!
Kristyna thank you so much for doing this, one of the best reviews I’ve seen with all the different lightings, this really helps to get a good all round impression of the colour. Thank you!!! You have made my decision much easier. Look forward to your next reviews ❤️😊
Best review I've seen so far. You explained it perfectly and thanks to you I'm not going to mess up the color of my wig. Those were the two colors I was contemplating. Iced Latte Macchiato it is. Thank you, very much! 🙏🏻
OMG, best video EVER, especially for me! I am a newbie looking for my first wig and because I can only afford one wig, at least for now because I don't have the income for it since I was paralyzed from an accident in 1990 when I was just 17. And, because of my disability and all of my meds, stress, and now menopause, I am searching for the perfect wig, especially one that resembles my hair and color. I LOVE your video because these are the exact colors that I was debating on, but especially because you showed them in the various locations and lightning! I am a cool, platinum blonde, but was probably going to choose shaded biscuit because everyone else's videos showed S. Iced Latté Macchiato as a much darker dirty blonde because of their ring light or home lighting, but now that I saw the Macchiato in the various lighting, my lengthy search is OVER thanks to you! I will be buying Mesmerized in the Macchiato! Thank you so much! Stacie in the Youngstown, Ohio area! 💕 p.s. So sorry for the looong comment!
I'm so glad it was helpful! Like I said, very interchangeable blondes (which I love!), but SILM just leans to the ashier side whereas SB is a very neutral/cool blonde!
Very helpful comparison. I’m interested to know if the root shade is the same on both. I find Shaded Biscuit’s root too brown and am looking for a cool platinum/ash blonde with a soft cool root, more grey than brown. Thank you.
Hi, Gaynor! Yes, both Shaded Biscuit and Shaded Iced Latte Macchiato have the same medium brown rooting, so this may not be the color for you! I highly recommend reaching out to someone over at Wig Studio 1 (either by email or the chat feature) and let them know what you’re looking for in a color and they may be able to help steer you to a particular color that fits your needs!
That makes me so happy to hear! So i believe technically SILM is supposed to have a light brown root versus the medium brown rooting of SB, however, in each piece I’ve gotten the rooting looks to be exactly the same color (medium brown). 🖤
They should sell color swatch rings. I am sure it would help with the return of wigs. It takes the guess work out of the tiny little thumbnail on websites. I really love both of these colors and styles on you❤ You have really great taste! Very classy😊
It's beautiful, isn't it?! Yes, they do have this color available in various toppers as well...the ones I saw were Top Billing (12"), Go All Out (10" and 16"), Crave the Wave, and Beautiful Illusion. Hope that helps!
Do you find that any of these wigs come shiny ? Are RW wigs really realistic looking on the head ? Do you find you get a wiggy look ? Just curious. I am losing my hair and really lost. Anything you know for smaller heads or do they all adjust to fit ? …. Thanks 🙏🏻 subscribed
Hi there! The key is choosing the heat defiant Tru2Life fibers versus a regular synthetic. All of my RW wigs shown I’ve done absolutely nothing to other than maybe heat styling. The fibers are incredibly realistic looking and the hairlines are better than a lot of my human hair wigs that are exponentially more expensive! I absolutely love my Raquel Welch wigs and find them to be a great option for those venturing into wigs!
Also, these are adjustable so you can tighten to fit your head. For reference I am a 21.75 circumference and don’t adjust these at all, so there is plenty of room to tighten!
Thank you so much for this content. I'm struggling to find a good description, photos, and videos about these colors. The Wigs website company is horrible.
Yep! I think what is difficult is for women who are new to wigs, they don't necessarily have the history on these brand's color collections...so whereas some women were around when these colors were being advertised and released as a cool collection, women who are just starting out are most likely going to be going off of the actual written color description and thumbnails...which is COMPLETELY opposite. The Shaded Biscuit thumbnail looks very cool and icy and is described as "Light Ash Blonde Evenly Blended with Cool Platinum Blonde with Dark Roots" and the SILM thumnbail looks to be a warmer blonde and is described as "Honey Blonde shaded with Cool Blonde"....that's why women being able to see these colors in real life and on real women is so important!
thank you. As a natural blonde however I find ALL shaded and rooted wigs to reflect brown bio hair either frosted or bleached and three months of growth. Blonde roots NEVER look like that and most blondes don't order these shaded or rooted wigs. When are wig manufacturers going to get the message? There are a VERY few wig colors that show for instance an ash blonde root but in contrast to a warmer blonde it's just not realistic. I'll stick to the wig mfrs who offer unrooted colors with dimension ( different blonde shade ) I then use a powder to slightly darken the roots. For the money I pay for wigs, I should not have to do this. And don't get me going on grey wigs... Not every woman has dark brown/black brown hair that turns various % of grey.
That is correct! However, if you were brand new to these wigs and just went by the color descriptions....the SILM would seem like it should be warmer that Shaded Biscuit. SILM is described as Honey Blonde shaded with Cool Blonde whereas Shaded Biscuit is described as Cool Platinum Blonde with subtle highlights and a medium brown root. It can be really confusing based off the written descriptions!

Great video thank you! Always wanted to see those 2 colors side-by-side. I’ve only gotten shaded biscuit I might try iced latte macchiato.
I'm so glad you found it helpful! It's definitely an easy sister color to Shaded Biscuit and worth a try! I love the icier tones in it!

Stacie in the Youngstown, Ohio area! 💕
p.s. So sorry for the looong comment!
Thank you. That determined which color I’d get for Trend Alert.
Thank you for the much needed comparison of these two colors. I’m always wondering what the differences are.
I'm so glad it was helpful! Like I said, very interchangeable blondes (which I love!), but SILM just leans to the ashier side whereas SB is a very neutral/cool blonde!
It looks fabulous straightened! You look maavelous ;)
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!
Great comparison! Very helpful. Thank you! Blessings! 💗
So glad you found it helpful, thank you!
This is so helpful. Thank you!
I'm so glad you found it helpful!
Very *VERY* helpful, thank you❤
Great video. Wondering if you can do. A video on how you straightened this wig and summer heat? Thanx
I will put that on my list!
Thank you! Very helpful ❤

I am back here because your video was so helpful. 🤗 Can you please tell me about the rooting? Which one in your opinion, is darker? Thank you! 💗

@Kristyna Moore You are so awesome! Great to know because I love the rooting on SB. Thank you so much for getting back to me! Blessings to you! 💖 💐
Very helpful ❤
Awesome thank you
So helpful!!!

Yes, those thumbnails on the websites are virtually useless...it is so much easier to see it on real life people!
Love the shaded iced latte Macchiato 😍
Do you know if they do that same colour, in a topper? Thanks ❤️
It's beautiful, isn't it?! Yes, they do have this color available in various toppers as well...the ones I saw were Top Billing (12"), Go All Out (10" and 16"), Crave the Wave, and Beautiful Illusion. Hope that helps!

I'm so glad you found it helpful!
Have you ever purchased RW's shaded cappuccino? I am very interested in seeing the difference in color. BTW, I love it straightened! 💕
I have not, but it has been on my list of colors! Hopefully I can do one soon when I look for more fall shades! Thank you for your comment!
Can you compare Jon Renau Toffee Syrup & Toffee Truffle?
super helpful
Glad to hear!
Do you find 17 to be closer to BBB in BT then the 19?
No I would say 19 (Shaded Biscuit) would be equivalent to BBB and 17 (ILM) would be equivalent to Rootbeer Float Blonde in BT. 🖤
The “iced” shades were made to be icy and cool!
Yep! The iced shades are all cooler… There are several of the iced shades and they are all cool and ash toned.
