No one is certain, but I’ve heard of guys making 500-700 hp evos for years on a stock bottom end. But yeah these days they could do anything with any older engine, but for some reason no company wants to redesign their old engines :/

That k20 sounds insane. Pure engine noise unlike most who stick on a 5" fartcan which makes them cars sound fucking shit. I use to love my Hondas a few years back. I'd love to do this swap and keep it for a weekend car.
I've got a K20A2 in an EK Hatch with some work done, and man I agree, it's insanely responsive. Expensive swap but its beyond worth it to any car fanatic imo.

it's getting a turbo swap soon. I'd like to do a K swap on another car when I have more space... Daie Motors managed to get an SW20 hardtop just under 1000KG with fluids, with the 3SGE. K20 is a bit lighter than a 3S as well. Would make a great track day car!
vs. a K swap? There's advantages and disadvantages to everything. The stock 3SGE has very little aftermarket support. Any 'worthwhile 'NA build will cost serious money, and you'll get better results doing a K swap with bolt ons and you will have spent less money. Pointless to boost it as the factory 3SGTE exists. V6 makes a lot of sense in a road car - linear power delivery, plenty of torque across the range. Sounds fantastic too. If you're going for more power than stock you run into the same problem as with the 3SGE - little aftermarket support. There's a few V6 Turbos and V6 supercharged cars around though. K20 makes good power out of the box, and there's a huge aftermarket for it in both NA and boosted applications. MR2 owners in the US are doing a lot with the K engines at the moment - everything from K24/K20 hybrid NA builds to 900bhp+ turbo builds. You can buy kits in the US to do the conversion.
I think after going to such a good event as the @6two1 meet. Jamie is obviously going to meet loads of Honda owners with the most awesome little cars like dannydc2 . why wouldn't he make fucking quality videos about them all ? I just seen so many hating comments. actually watch all the videos from day one get to know the guy making these videos and you would know his covered almost every car he possibly could off . It's a track car with a proper cold air intake, you're not supposed to be driving through puddles with it. It can also handle water no problem, that's what the filter is for as long as it's not fully submerged.
it's also called a bypass filter..... I have 3 cars currently with a cai not a single hydrolock yes..... and honestly if you ain't using a cai you ain't making power you're loosing it....
