Made double the quantity of this today, turned out to be a lot! I think the original one could easily serve 2 people. Nice light flavour full of healthy ingredients 👍

I made this recipe ,before adding lemon and curd I was skeptical whether to do it but, believe me it added the extra punch to the dish.Thank you so much for the recipe everyone at my home loved it
Superb one, Quick note, addition of salt lifts the flavour before you add the boiled vegetables and as it cooks towards the end add 2-3 spoons of Ghee.
I have a question: why did you use curd and lemon simultaneously? I have been told that two sour things are not eaten together as it is not good for health, so I am curious to know.
Thanks Ruchi, I tried it with steel cut oats, yes I had to pre-cook oats separately coz steel cut oats need more water and time than rolled oats. Rest i followed ur recipe and it came out real good and yummy.
While you are roasting semolina...you can add more grains to this millet..coarsely ground Ragi and add a lot more nuts..and plenty of dry coconut as well. This makes a healthy breakfast or a brunch dish. You serve this with a cup of plain yogurt and some unsalted potatoes chips. You can also garnish this fresh fried onions as well. Serve with a tsp of melted butter or ghee..Good alternatives for a diabetic meal with great veggies...Thanks for the gesture of sharing.
Tried this recipe today minus the dals and coconut.. not a fan of these two in savoury foods, it came out delicious. I used to have oats upma without rava, it used to be sticky but adding rava was the amazing thing..

This upama recipe I tried and this the best, I only added Ripe tomatoes and the result is also good .
