That is not normal behaviour for seagull that little dance on anything that isn't earth when getting worms and it was funny seeing him playing with the water ball. Key stomping is always great entertainment he wasn't sharing his biscuits
Gulls stomp/dance usually on grass to bring the worms up to the surface to eat. How they worked out over time that if they dance lightly it sounds/vibrates like rain and brings the worms to surface and then gobble them up. This gull is so hungry he was trying it on a roof poor thing.

That seagull was funny. It's as if he's been watching Key throw his bowl at you, in order to get food, so the seagull is doing the same. And it worked, because you gave him a couple of biscuits. Key's reaction was funny too. We knew he wouldn't be pleased with the idea of sharing his precious biscuits. Key only shares his biscuits with his very best friend, not with a pesky seagull, who might poop on him. 😂 🐕💖

The birds ''dancing'' is a movement they usually make on dirt to trick the worms into thinking it rains, so they come up.
I'm sure K'eyush doesn't mind Jodi gave the seagull a biscuit he just enjoys giving her a hard time...❤🐶

Hi Jodie, the dancing the gull is doing, is what birds do on the ground that makes worms come to the surface, obviously I'm talking about soil and not the ground that gull was dancing on, the dancing is actually a bird drumming the ground and that's what makes worms come to the surface, I don't know whether the drumming is meant to imitate rain hitting the ground or not, but there you go, why is the seagull dancing, answered. 😉
Seagulls look so funny when they stomp their feet like that. They do it (on the grass usually) so worms think it rains and will come up through the ground
Thank you Jodie for saving the sea gull. Every time I go to the beach I feed them. I usually feed them Cheerios cereal, never bread. We even have them show up in my city during the winter. I’m not sure if they’ve migrated from Alaska but they hang out here in East Tennessee until Spring. Key is a kind hearted doggo so he doesn’t mind sharing.

I believe that the Seagull was playing a game of some sort. I've seen Ducks purposely dunking under water while it's partially frozen. They even had a practice area.

Love Keys righteous indignation. Gulls do at times like to play with objects. I work with them through a wildlife rehab center. They will carry around pieces of driftwood like prized objects, only to lose it to another gull who snatches it away. They are intelligent, clever birds.

Jodie, maybe try nuts? A lady named Debs n the UK feeds foxes & 🐿 & the squirrels LOVE nuts of all kinds. A few I’ve seen her feed them were walnuts, monkey nuts & hazelnuts. It was so kind of u take care of the seagull when he was a baby. 🙌🏼🌹
