Agreed Jesus reappearing the second time is undeniable and no man knows the day or hour and even may be even in our lifetime but I respectfully disagreed with your exposition on Mat24 as the audience relevance was the 1st century Israelites and if not the whole prediction of Jesus would not make any sense to them if Jesus was addressing the 20th century audience. It was explicitly stated that Jesus was replying to his disciple's queries (Mat24:3) and He proceeded to narrate certain events will take place prior to the the impending destruction (Mat23:36 & 24:34) of their temple that would lead to the cessation of the Jewish sacrificial system in AD70. @@guojing88 in context does mat24 mentioned the body of Christ or the ancient Israelites (Mat24:36 24:34) that will go through the great tribulation? Note the great tribulation stated in mat24:29 that precedes Mat24:34 and that is the generation that Jesus was speaking to that will go through that greattribulation in AD70, if not it won't make sense to them. I am not a presenting a preterist view but merely your wrong application of Mat24 was for the purpose that it fits into your theory.
@@motomark9736 according to the bible mat24 great tribulation was witnessed by that generation (Mat23:36 Mat24:34) Jesus was speaking to and these events are not for end days. If it is going to happen in the 20th century or beyond the future it won't make sense to the audience Jesus was speaking to, it is just common sense.
@@93556108 Jesus was talking about the OT prophetic timetable in Matthew 24, where the Body of Christ did not exist and was a secret hidden in God, as Paul would later reveal only after that in Ephesians. Think of the mystery of the grace dispensation as an interruption of that timetable. That was why the generation during that time did not see the Tribulation events that Jesus was talking about then. God himself interrupted it. Jesus knew about the mystery dispensation in his first coming of course, but it was not time for it to be revealed yet, until he ascended to heaven, saved Paul, and revealed the mystery to him.

You share the preterist view. This pastor has the view that the Body of Christ will undergo the Tribulation.
