So this month I went thrifting for 35mm film cameras! These are the cameras I found:

I did two thrift shop runs visited 20 + shops in San diego.
Day 1 - Olympus Epic DLX $5
Day 2 - Olympus Xa2 with A11 flash $25
Tips
1. Either the store will have a crap ton of cameras or none. your job is to find which stores value cameras and put it on the shelf.
2. IMO, No name thrift stores are better than the name brand.
3. Good map your route.
4. have patience. learn the cams. Olympus used to own portable market so stylus can be found with right shops, but they do not end and be all,
5. Carry a123 battery and dummy roll if you want to test it as soon as you cop it.
6. mark your fav shops. repeat visit those shops.

Yeah, i regret not picking it up! Didn't know much about it then tbh, but after seeing comments like yours i did some research about it and it seems like a pretty amazing camera, hopefully I find another one 🙏

Thank you! I sadly don't develop it myself, I just drop it off at a local place and they develop and scan it for me

If the SX-70 is a model 3, don't bother replacing the leather as it isn't worth it at all. The model 3 SX-70s hold the least value as they are the only SX-70 that is not an SLR. That being said, if you plan on keeping it, replacing the leather is definitely worth it.

Yep, I don't edit my film photos at all. The film I used in this video was kodak gold 200 :)

how do you know what chargers they need?
You dont need to charge them, they take batteries...many of them just take AA, but some take more specialized batteries, depends on the camera :)
