I had a 67, mid-night blue SS-396 just like this one....I had forgotten how beautiful these cars were.....I was 17 then, and those were the happiest days of my life.....When I tell you this......I know you'll say I didn't race the right car...But I raced anyone and everyone who wanted to race....and I never lost not one race in my Chevelle....My father had that engine totally tricked out.....You should have heard that car at a red light....The sound was Sooooooooooooo fine just sitting there idling.....God, how I miss those days......Oh yes, I'm only talking the quarter mile.....My car was set up for that.....With street tires it would run a low 13 through the quarter mile.....I never did put slicks on it....But I was told it would have really helped my time.
Great little 67, my favourite year, with a bonus 454, just think of the trouble I could cause with that. Great video, watching every day. Thanks, enjoy the pass time. Stay safe Nick!
That is one of the nicest Chevelles I have seen in a LONG time. Whoever built it did it right, and to whoever gets it, ENJOY. The combo video is nice well. Keep up the great work Nick!
'67 Chevelle is in my top five favorite cars ever. That car is perfect color, stance, ..... Great car. You guys are the Indianna Jones of hot rod finders. Great video Bud
Nick, gorgeous car but for basically 37k I need visors, no belt/pulley noise, blowers working for heat. All gauges working and a super treat A/C. If it had that I would be getting me a lawyer to get me an exception to the Philippines rule of no importing cars older than 5 years. Your family always have some great vehicles. If not for me then maybe my son in law. Still waiting on the 55 bel air for my brother in law. As I stated before, his dad sold his while he was in Man and on his return he tried to buy it back but the guy had totalled it. Please stay very safe and thank you again. Peace Ann d safety from the Philippines.
Not trying to make a big deal of this, but if those blades are touching the shroud, you either remove the shroud temporarily, or get a lil smaller fan blade. Good way to break a blade and then puncture the heck out of the radiator.
My Favorite Car with My Favorite color ever since I was a kid, just a little pricy for me, but looks worth it. I envy the person who bought this one...Thanks
When my older brother and his friend Dan were 15 (around 1973), they bought a '67 Chevelle and rebuilt the engine. I remember them pulling hole shots up and down our dead end street. Neighbors would call the cops. I think they were trying to make it a drag car because it had no interior. In '76 my brother went into the Marines for 4 years. He came home in a '69 Chevelle which was a tad lighter in color than what you have here. He and his friend lost interest in the '67. It still sits in Dan's garage today. At my niece's wedding, I saw Dan and asked him about the car. He said he might start restoring it again.
I’ve been craving it since 1970. Always missed it. I’am old now but have dreams. I just recall that corrosive water accumulated in the corner of the back window inset.
Had an old buick regal gs and horn would stick on occasion!..one beautiful Saturday picked up MOM to take her shopping but had to gas up 1st and pulled into gas station packed full of Saturday goers..cut car to the left and damn horn sticks and wouldnt come unstuck this time!lol!!..mom was hittin me thinkin i was doin it on purpose and that sucker was loud!..hopped out raised hood unplugged it..few years later sold it to a guy and he was checkin it out got in tested the horn!!!😆didnt work so i popped hood because I'd forgotten about it..he reaches down plugs horn in and MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!😆 We had a good laugh and he bought it anyway!
That is a cool car always like the 66-67 I have a 1970 that looks exactly like that except for the fact it's got black stripes but the blue almost looks exactly like that somebody bought theirselves a cool car
Hi Nick, very nice job on the rotisserie under carriage paint job...wish I'd kept my 67 Malibu, that I gave to a friend after he wrecked his....nice car and video.....
Sweet ride Nick, super clean and very desirable year model. Love that blue paint very much worth the price!! That belt noise is annoying, try put a little dab of dielectric grease on the pulley side of the belt, it will quiet it up till you can replace or tighten it up.
That is a nice Chevelle I love it it's very cool the only thing I would fix is squeaking other than that boom you're all set to go and you remember what you said at the end of the video that you're doing 1 whole video not two separate ones your question was if you like that all start doing that I don't like that I like how you do two separate like one for the walk-around and one for the test drive
I'd drive the piss out of that ride!!!!! Had a 1969 GTO JUDGE 455/Hurst four speed at eighteen but I bought it myself instead of mommy and daddy...lol....had a blast in that ride!!!!! Msrp $3699.00 if I remember correctly!!!
@@kurtcameron723 yes sir!!! Lol...I had a heavy foot and blew the motor but the 455 was an upgrade to me...Lol Hard to believe that was fifty years ago!!! Lol...I'm an old man now but sure enjoyed my youth!!! Lol...
One time I took a old car to the drive-in in the belt was screaming on it every time I crank it to turn the air on so let's just say I might have peed in a cup and poured it on the Belt and it didn't squeak anymore for 2 days🤭😆 T.M.I ⁉️😕
the builder/owner ran out of money or just sold it before they did. Or just figured that a $1,500 Vintage Air system wouldn't equate to adding $1,500 to the selling price.
I owned a 69 GTO 4 sp car in college 400 - 350hp and it felt stronger than my 06 Z06 Vette and 06 auto GTO...It wasn't of course but did seat of the pants wise and the sound of a Quadrajet 4 barrel carb can not be replicated by ANY current musclecar due to their use of fuel injection. There's nothing like the visceral roar of a 4 barrel roaring at full throttle.
67, big block, 4 speed, blue, and Corvette rally's? There's really not much you could ask for. Perfect, beautiful car!

A 396 was a nice engine, a 427 with solid lifters was nicer. Did you run 4.10 gears, and did you have a Muncie or Turbo 400 ?
Great little 67, my favourite year, with a bonus 454, just think of the trouble I could cause with that.
Great video, watching every day. Thanks, enjoy the pass time. Stay safe Nick!
67 chevelle is the greatest car ever built. They are just so beautiful.
That's a beauty. I'm thinking of becoming a professional horn repair guy. I could work for you full time.
😂😂😂 You would keep busy.
LOL, rolling in money fixing horns. Great idea.
@@jeffreyb6165 Makes you thinks about what other things are wrong
Awesome. I had 3 1968 Chevelle SS 396 cars in my younger days. 67 is my birth year...beautiful car.
Hats off to the retired GM engineers!
Had one of these beauties in the mid seventies. Swapped a 454 in when the 396 died. Awesome memories.😎

The body lines on this ride are real nice, all panels line up great. Man that undercarriage is clean enough to eat off of.
1967 SS Chevelle is my dream car… This one’s is a beauty!!
Best looking Chevy super sport of all models over the years. That's one sweet ride.
Absolutely beautiful 👌. Maple motors always gets the sweet rides. Wish I lived closer.
I like the format of this video with the test drive and walk around combined . Great job Nick 👍

Perfect blue 💙 with the beauty rings & raised white letters. Absolutely beautiful Chevelle 👍
Wow that is a sweet ride with a great sound! Would love to have this car! 🚙
That color looks good on that 67
Awesome car. Yeah, the squeaky belt would drive me nuts but easy fix. Love the point-of-view drives.
You think they would take the time to tighten that belt Come on man!😂
Sweet car, l love that year, few problems, love your videos, but it's hard to hear what you say most of the time, Thanks bro for dealers like you
This is in my top 5 of cars you’ve had

OMG! This is my favorite year of Chevelle too!
Hi Nick, very nice job on the rotisserie under carriage paint job...wish I'd kept my 67 Malibu, that I gave to a friend after he wrecked his....nice car and video.....
Love those wheels. And the car.
I had a 68 SS 396. Wish I still had it.
Like the new style video always MAPLES MOTORS ROCKS
Doesn't she sound purddy idling! Love the color.
My dream car right there oooo baby 😍😍
For $37,000 I want a horn
And they should pay for the taxes to right 😆
Ego Eimi no.12 any other dealer this car is at least 45k
@@gerardmackenzie5686 then I want a horn and a/c✴
@Rusty Shackleford 37,000 is pretty near
ironhorse67 good point, excellent to hear word from a classic car owner on the matter here
NICE , a nice engine and I think that is best body style for a Chevelle plus the paint catches ur eye what more do want
I want that car. It’s my favorite color too.
very very nice car to me, shame shes not automatic, EU wise, i hate shifting..grew up with it..😊
Sweet ride Nick, super clean and very desirable year model. Love that blue paint very much worth the price!! That belt noise is annoying, try put a little dab of dielectric grease on the pulley side of the belt, it will quiet it up till you can replace or tighten it up.
Very nice car Nick I like 1966 ss I hope to get one soon
I just seen a blue 67 chevelle, with a 454 ,rally wheels disc brake, gives best price out the lot. I'm from Shelby NC

My favorite car of all time! Only thing I prefer is 327 small block. Other than that, pristine!
I am in ❤ will be checking back to see if it did sell.
Sweet thing
I like the combo plus you probably can get to two more test drives that way.
Cool car, but I always loved the high reving 396 and 427s
My favorite year.
It sounds like a fan blade is getting ready to launch itself.
Great looking car. Gotta love a big block.
Stick shift yes !
The OLD temporary insta fix for a squeaky belt is a bar of soap held underneath the belt. Causes it to stick.
Spray some black magic on that belt and it wont squeal no more!
When I was 13 teen years old my dad and mom has one like this but better ! My bother's wife destroyed it ! And now I'm 58 years old !
Awesome machine!!
WHOA!!. Wutta gorgious 67’ Chevelle. The color is very nice 🤙🏼 That car should be gone by next week or sooner
Not for 36k thats for sure
I’m gonna watch no matter the floor mat.
One time I took a old car to the drive-in in the belt was screaming on it every time I crank it to turn the air on so let's just say I might have peed in a cup and poured it on the Belt and it didn't squeak anymore for 2 days🤭😆 T.M.I ⁉️😕
Very powerful let's see some in an automatic so I don't have to change anything out when I get one freighted to Arizona
That's just car porn!!!!
Beautiful car!!!
Like it that way.. streamline your time..
great job Buddy!
Great episode. Beautiful Chevelle SS. I'm partial to the 66 model. Not much difference though.
Right on!
Definitely change the belts to a aftermarket serpentine set up like Billet Specialties ,March or CVF Racing .
Very beautiful looking car beautiful colour amazing look
Nice car wish I had it
Perfect size cam....
Thought you wasn't gonna get to this one since there's a hold on it!!!
Do you stay in touch with the buyers of these vehicles? Id imagine yall build a pretty good friendship with clientele.
Nice car😁
Nice camera angles
Awesome
At Least it Squeals in all 4 Gears Nick !!
Anyone know what wheel centercaps those are? I like the ralley wheels but they usually have massive centercaps. These are smaller. Looks better
Awsome year for the Chevrolet. I would fix those issues before i show the vid
Missing visors because they are maddening to keep up. In my 67 I’ve tried everything. Anyone got a suggestion?
I was an idiot and sold one of these after high school...67 SS...😪
Very nice car
I think with all these great cars you need to add a burn out for every car you test.
Sounds awesome 🔥🔥🔥
Gorgeous Nick..... definitely a shrimp on the barbie
Beautiful car! Needs fine tuned, surprised belt was squealing, easy fix tho! Nice job
Oh my
Hey Nick, Im okay with the all in one videos. Probably works better for you timing and editing wise to boot. Either way... Im watching your videos.
Camaros are nice, I want them all lol
It sure is a beauty. The question would be if someone puts this much money in a car, why not add a/c??
the builder/owner ran out of money or just sold it before they did. Or just figured that a $1,500 Vintage Air system wouldn't equate to adding $1,500 to the selling price.
Sweet Chevelle. Too bad they haven’t brought it back like the Camaro and the PT cruiser and thunderbird etc. No beatin’ a 66 malibu
