I have woven this pattern 4 times now. This is my go to pattern for my dishcloths. I just love it. I am so happy you posted it. They have a nice texture and great color patterning. I substitute another Color and alternate where you would have the caterpillar, so using white, with two other colors. They come out very pretty. I will be weaving my 5th set of towels as soon as my new spool of cotton arrives!
I slowed the video down and got: 1 1/2” 8:2 cotton plain weave. U/D 10 picks of natural. U 1 pick N/puU 1 pick U 1 pick D 1 pick U 1 pick N/puU 1 pick U 1 pick D 1 pick U 1 pick N/puU 1 pick U 1 pick D 1 pick : continue in pattern to towel length, end with 10 picks up/down, 1 1/2” 8:2 cotton for hem again.
I wish you would have shown the warping peg. When you do one color at a time, I guess everything gets sorted out when you cut the loops and slay? Just seemed like everything would be out of order on the peg.

Thank you for the tips and love the waffle weave. 👍👍👍
No volume during the pick up sequence 😮😢
Probably on purpose. You can buy the pattern at her website.

Really interesting warping method!
Complicated, don't you think? There are easier ways....
I thought the idea of weaving each color all at once made sense, less errors.

@@mastinomama8939yeah, don’t do it this way because the crossed warp is a killer! Just direct warp it.
@@liza5532there’s a lot of cross over which becomes a BIG problem with tension problems making it miserable!
