Yeah passing it forward after David Lee could have flipped it on Dray to where he wants the starting role back.

He's just saying what he has to put on a good front and make it seem like Kuminga has reached that level as they try to prop up his trade value for a "superstar" that we've been hearing since summer that they're after. Hence why JK has not been given an extension and has more flexibility to be moved. Ya'll gullible af if ur buying this koolaid lol

Bruh for people sayin they just frontin to help his trade value is a good argument but think about this, hypothetically he gets traded for whoever and whoever they trade for isn’t a for sure thing that the squad just automatically get that much better. It can lap have a negative effect on my take on it draymond has had the same take on jk since day one and him becoming a starter is helpin the team all around. I don’t think jk is goin anywhere and believe he’ll be the next star for the team once curry is done.

Darymond knows the play is to inflate Kumingas value so the Warriors can get a good value for him in the trade.

If he can transition into an Andre role off the bench while elevating JK its a win win. Dray gets to manage these last few seasons going against second units while still being able to close games and play when it matters most. Whether or not the starting lineup defense holds up is the question.

LOVE hearing this from Draymond! Absolutely love this. Cause this is that veteran shit that builds bonds in a team. Draymond is a four time champion, DPOY, gold medalist, all star, and a future hall of famer who is by every meaning of the word a living legend. And he's willing to go out on a limb and give his starting spot to young fella cause he knows what it's like to be in the position Kuminga is in right now. Draymond knows what it's like to have to battle for the promotion against an all star who is ahead of you in the rotation. Cause everyone forgets David Lee was an all star before he came to the warriors. So I think it's freaking incredible that Draymond is making a point of paying it forward just like he needed his vets to pay it forward for him when he was Kuminga's age

Dray im a huge fan of yours from the Philippines. i have one question; 1) Why does coach steve kerr dont like to get more taller players to play physical defense and shoot jumpers? GSW after the strength in numbers never got back to its identity. because the players are getting shorter and shorter

I feel like Dray 🧢. He mentioned not caring about JK starting but he would be in to close games. What if he don’t start nor close games? What if 30 mins drop to 18mins per game. I don’t think the same sentiment on the court would reflect. Especially if they lose.

Bro the public isn't dumb or jaded... YOU GUYS ARE TRYING TO SHOWCASE KUMINGA FOR A TRADE (period), so stop the cap. It's so obvious & transparent what's happening.
Kerr doesn't go from hating on JK to starting him over his most important defender, facilitator & emotional leader "suddenly" as the superstar trade rumors fly, you're supposedly "ok with it" because you know it's temporary lol stop playin

Any blockbuster trade will involve Kuminga and Wiggins (and more guys) for salary and would be a lateral move at best, while gutting our youth. I just don't see them doing it.
