I think it's because she's happy taking a side seat to this song so to speak. She's always been the main performer but she's happy letting Blake take the lead and it's a much better harmony with the softer vocals on her part. I was never a huge fan of hers either except for the song Simple Life she wrote with No Doubt about her heart ache over a band member and thinking she would never have children. It's a sad song but she sure turned it around. Good for them!!

What's so cool is that the video was not supposed to have any family videos in it at all. But this video, however, HAD to be shot in early 2020, right in the midst of COVID pandemic. The entire thing was filmed on Blake's video recorder, operated by his brother. It was just meant to be! It's awesome! 🎉❤🎉

I love how different these two are and how neither has changed their own style for the other. Reminds me of me and my husband. He's a jock, and I'm artsy. I wear vintage coats in the winter to annoy him, and he wore his USA jersey when we went to Mexico just to annoy me. We are so different that it forces us to be true to ourselves, and that's what we love about each other. I see that in Gwen and Blake too.

I was just watching the video god gave me you by Blake Shelton. And omg in that video even though he was singing it to his ex wife, he just didn't look happy and in love. His eyes looked so sad in the video. I always say artists tend to sing love songs about their significant others but they don't seem happy. But in this case the way he is singing to Gwen here. You can see his eyes just light up. Even when she's not in the scenes with him. He's singing about her while he's thinking about her. This is what true love looks like. I always said this. I ain't never seeing Blake so smitten and happy and in love like he is with Gwen. And look at them now. Married and happier than ever.

Going through a divorce after a marriage in hell, ending with my ex having an affair that he never planned to tell me about as we were trying to have a baby all year. We have 2 kids together and the divorce is a nightmare. Every convo turns into a fight that sucks the life out of you and makes you wonder why you ever fell in love in the first place. I’m so exhausted from all of it...marriage and divorce alike. The road ahead is going to be HARD. These 2 went through the same thing and are so happy now...making marriage look so fun and easy. I hope I can get back to that point! After fighting with my ex tonight and feeling so drained, watching this video made me feel better. Thanks guys!

Divorce is tough. It takes alot out of you and makes you question so many different things. But your main focus is your children. If I could give you one piece of advice its this..love isn't supposed to hurt. You learn from even the toughest struggles in your life. Sometimes there's just something better out there for you. You may not feel or see that now but there is. That being said you be strong for your kids. You show them everyday how much you love them. Never fight in front of them. And although you may want to say terrible things about their dad bc of the things he has done and bc his affair led to this...Dont! Your kids will grow to respect you more. Keep your head up and know that you will find peace again...and you will love again because you deserve your happily ever after💖 we all do. I've been where you are. I was lost, very lost.. But happiness did find me again and he's amazing, wonderful, loves my kids like his own and I feel like the luckiest most beautiful woman in the world when he looks at me💖 so I know once you get through this battle, take your time, dust yourself off and live your beautiful life again..you're worth it! Xxx

This is such a happy happy song full of love and the joy of being together. So very timing especially now that a lot of us is stuck in the house.
