    They look like cool combos. It’s cool to see them get in the combo game. But I think the best combo amp on the market if you’re looking for overall features is the fender stage 800. 400 W RMS. 800 with the extended cab. Built-in tuner, different amps affects global presets. You can change the line outgain. It’s a good deal for a little under 1000.

    That octaver tracks really well!

    These look like great bass combos. I hope when they say 500 watts it IS 500 watts. Unlike Fender Rumble 500 which is actually a 350 watt amp on its own and not paired to an extension cab.

      Clearly coming after the rumbles dominance in this space. I've never found 350 to be lacking on my v3. The only issue here is the price is much higher. That said, these will be very popular.

      @lockedowng I just checked their website. It is 350 watts. Like the Rumble 500, it is 500 watts when paired with a speaker cabinet. The Darkglass are Helsinki designed and made in China. Being in Australia, I suspect they will cost over $2,000. I can buy the Rumble 500 for about $950. Makes the proposition hard at such a variance in price between the two. Do you like your Rumble 500?

      @christosfragias592 the rumble is great for what it is, an extremely light amp that can handle just about any live situation. I use a stomp xl into the fx return, so on board pre-amps are bypassed anyway. If I didn't have my current rig, this darkglass would be on a short list.

    You only get the full power with an extension speaker. Wish Darkglass made a 15" combo or cabinet!

    @Darkglass
    It seems your combos will deliver 500W only with a cab... Do you confirm ?
    If yes, what is the added value of these new products in front of a Fender Rumble 800 combo delivering 400W without cab, weighing less than 14kg and costing less than 900€ (versus 350W / 17kg / 1400€ on your side for an equivalent 2x10) ?
    The sound ? The Rumble is a monster !
    The octaver ? Does it justify a difference of more than 500€ ?
    Don't get me wrong as I'm an absolute fan of your products (my board hosts 3 of your pedals) but I'm a bit disappointed by the fact that it seems to me you're not gonna be at the level of the competition !
    Sorry...

      Yep they explain on Talkbass that it was because of the Cabinet. They don't make the cabinet in Finland.
      From the beginning, potentiometers, knobs,... are made in China. Electronics cards are made in Finland and the whole product is assembled in Finland I think.

    Balsa Wood? Can’t you just use styrofoam or better yet… if you would just make it inflatable it would be the lightest most portable cabinet EVER!
