These are so cute!!!! I have loads of upholstery scraps. Fun! Cake was a hit. Turned out quite pretty if I do say so. The birthday girl loved it. It had huge gumpaste roses and teeny tiny white butterflies circling in from the bottom up towards the roses.
Hi Tina, I love the way you pull the paper roses apart to use them. I have heaps of them but they are too bulky they way they are. Great idea. Thank you 😊
Those are absolutely the sweetest things. I really will make some. I don't know how you keep coming up with all these great ideas but I appreciate it. And I'm Overjoyed that you took a little time off to enjoy yourself with your friend. I don't think it was naughty I think it was healthy
These are absolutely adorable. How do you keep thinking of these ideas. Hope you have managed to stay safe, warm and dry throughout this storm we’ve had. There was quite a lot of fallen trees and debris around near us. Two trees in our garden were blown over. Take care. Much luv as always. Xx
These are so sweet, Tina! And you’re so creative to keep finding ways to use fabric in our journals! I’m glad you were able to use your hot tub one more time, good for you!! You deserve to have a bit of fun with a friend!!
I have so enjoyed this scrap bin series. Great. BTW, I iron piano-roll paper to stop it rolling up when you work with it (to answer a question in a recent video). Stay safe.
love love love this idea - they are so cute - so pretty and like you said they can just be put on the edge of our journal pages as well - i love to create page tabs - i recently made little fabric clusters on paper tabs but you can always put the little fabric clusters onto a fabric tab - love this - i will try to make the bows but maybe cut rectangles of fabric and tie the center with thread lol - but thank you Tina for this wonderful inspiration - and you know what - its ok to be naughty once in a while - you have been thru so much - you deserve it 🥰🤗🥰 be well xx
Thank you so much Janet, I love your idea of just cutting rectangles and tying them in the middle to make the bows, I am going to try that. Hope you have fun with these x
Hello Tina, I am loving this use up fabric scraps series. These fabric bow tabs are fabulous and enjoyed watching you make them. Had a giggle when you said you felt naughty for taking time to soak in the hot tub with your friend and not working, a girl needs some down time once in a while. Now it would be a bit chilly, did it once in winter on honeymoon and froze getting back into cabin, just not for me at least in winter unless it is indoors of course. A bit of a ramble there, sorry.
Please don’t worry at all about rambling, I loved hearing about your honeymoon hot tub, what an awesome experience. Yes, we do need some down time every now and then don’t we? X
Cutest idea and I’m working on thinning my scraps. I have tons. So I’m making boho beads and I’m going to make these. Thank you so much for sharing your gift.
Adorable idea!! They are just so darn cute😊💜 You always have such creative ideas! Thanks for your dedication to daily video offerings. BTW, I love hot glue. Unfortunately,my current glue gun just isn't working very well even though it is exactly like the one I used to have that was awesome. 😏
Yay, hot glue really is awesome isn’t it? I just hate it when mine plays up…..I generally find it to have a shelf life of around 1 to 2 years, which isn’t bad considering how much I use it! Lol x
Hi, Tina, I’m happy for you that you had a chance to spend some downtime with your friend, everybody needs that once in awhile!😊 Those are so cute, you did a great job! We have some things here that you can put on the end of your fingers so you won’t get burned by your glue gun! I bet you don’t have fingerprints on your fingertips anymore!🙄😳 Hugs!🥰
Thank you so much Margie, I had filmed this a while back, that lovely afternoon feels like a long time ago now, lol. Yes, I would be an excellent robber, with no fingerprints! Haha! Hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend x
Oh how adorable 😍😍 lol I'm safer stitching though knowing me 🙊🙈🙊. So handy having them made up too. I bet your fingerprints are like mine.... Burnt off 🙈🙈🙈. Great idea 💡 I love them! Tfs and have a great day 💖💖
I have to say, I am loving your ideas for using scraps. Of paper and fabric. One problem I have is that I have no fabric scraps! However, I hit up the thrift store today in search of. I found a few tops with pretty patterns, but I’m having a hard time putting scissors to perfectly good shirts! Lol I’d be curious to know where your “scraps” come from. Do you purchase your fabrics at a fabric store? Or are you thrifty minded like myself? ;) what about your laces? Are they from bolts at the fabric store or clothing scraps? Thank you! And keep the ideas coming! Ps I would love to see ideas for making shabby chic earrings/jewelry out of paper and fabric scraps!
I know what you mean about cutting into perfectly good things. I often use old dresses etc of my daughters….. and my own of course, but she goes through her clothes quicker than I do! Lol I also have been lucky enough to receive quite a lot of fabric in happy mail. X
LOL!! I think that in our past three conversation one of us said, "Only a junk journaler would understand". We are our very own sub-species, are we not? These are so cute and in digging through one of (🤦♀️) my scraps boxes I found the perfect fabric to make some of these little rascals, so YAY!! 🥳🥳 I've been making stock piles of little things because I've been working on my Book of Colors from last year 🤷♀️ and I'm minutes, MINUTES I tell ya, away from getting it done. As such, tiny things were perfect to do while this or that was drying in my book. Tina, you're just the best and I love spending time with you. Anndddd... if ANYone puts a hassle in your castle about spending time in your hot tub with your friends, you just send them to me. I got you girl! XOX, MK ♥️🤗🏜
Lol, thank you sooooooo much, you are such a breath of fresh air every day, thank you. Oh, hope you’re done now with your book of colours 🤗, love to you x
Hi Tina... trying to subscribe to your FB page, but not sure which one it is. Could you place a link above with the down arrow? Thank you. Really enjoying your ideas to use up your scraps! Tfs.

Hi Tina, I enjoy your videos so much! I just want to know if you have any digitals of your beautiful gelli plate and alcohol ink backgrounds? I would love to buy some
This is my first time to see a bow made this way. It is such a marvelous idea!! Thank you for sharing.
Very cute! And not too labor intensive 💕

Fab tabs. So pretty. I adore watching your cleverness x
Super cute...you are right, you can't really use up much scraps, but they will be adorable.
These would still be great to make the bows without the tabs. I like that they don't have to be sewn. Love these ❤❤❤
Thank you so much Laura, yes they’re really cute little bows aren’t they? X
More great fabric scrap ideas.
Hi Tina, I love the way you pull the paper roses apart to use them. I have heaps of them but they are too bulky they way they are. Great idea. Thank you 😊
